This might be a silly question but for the all-state bonus drive cash back are you filling out the application based on when you ordered the truck or at the time you receive your custom ordered truck?

Date you purchased or leased the vehicle.

Navy Federal, if you qualify, still has 2.19% listed for 37-60 month loans. Being ex Air Force, my family gets to take advantage of these rates also, so they benefit from the low interest credit union options.

I was hoping to get serious about purchasing a 1500 Laramie around Memorial Day, but from the sounds of the chip shortage and lack of incentives/rebates so far this year, I might have to wait until the end of the year now....

They won’t negotiate ANYWHERE that I’ve called, although they are offering discounts out the gate. Thoughts on this one?

I see some folks talk about combining Pen Fed or US News $500 with the $1000 pop up. When I called FCA they said they can’t be combined. Is that accurate?

Hey guys, long time lurker, but owned a 2019 DT since June of 2019.
i work in the steel industry and can tell you that the price of steel has doubled since late October/ early November.

we thought we had seen the peak of prices but it just continues to go up.

why am I stating this, don’t expect better rebates coming through this summer.

there is a massive steel shortage in the United States and while it hasn’t hit automotive pricing yet, by this summer it will. I would not expect great rebates come June this year again.

I was lucky when I bought my 19’ Laramie that I got the 15% off from Ram and then 12% from the dealer.

don’t spend what you don’t have, but I also wouldn’t expect great deals in the next 3-4 months

I just called FCA Incentives.

They confirmed that the True Car is a "TDM" - targeted direct mailer. The Ram Pop Up is as well, and they cannot be combined.

He wasn't sure about Pen Fed without seeing it. The last guy I spoke to told me they cannot be combined.

Has anyone had experience with Pen Fed? Is it a TDM? Did you click on something that gave you an email offer code?

Edit: i called back and got someone more helpful. Bad news. Pen Fed has a lot of exclusions:

other TDMs/e certs
Employee Advantage (she said that is employee pricing)
Select inventory
CDI (Certain Designated Individuals, not sure what that means)
Conquest/Loyalty programs (that one hurts, last year they had $1K conquest cash!)
Non prime retail incentives (The lower credit bonus)

I highly recommend that you buy local. Local businesses need your support and car dealerships are struggling right now and really need all of your money..........
no. you get business by being a good business with a good business model. not by trying to rob people. so no, do not order or buy based on their geographical location. do not support a thieving business out of pity. should of been better🤷🏼‍♂️

If you read above, you will see that I was being facetious 🤣 Some folks need to loosen the button on their shirt around their neck.

There is a link to a loan calculator here that automatically compares rebates vs lower interest.

Rebate vs. lower interest: Which car incentive is right for you?

If you have to choose between lower cost or lower interest. Includes a rebate vs interest calculator. LINK

PenFed has good auto loan rates as well as the $1000 rebate.

I should have applied for the PenFed. I ignored it and left money on the table. It was also unclear whether or not Sam's Club still had their $500 rebate in January. I also could've done that.

If you don't have to have the Night Edition package, I am seeing great trucks that have been on the lot since October-Dec. Everyone loves the Night Edition, and I bought mine with that as well, but if you don't mind some chrome, you can likely have your pick of the litter.

You can search up to a 250 mile radius using the Ram Trucks website. So I put together a list of zip codes across the eastern US, entered a few basic absolute must have criteria (6'4 bed, MFT, sunroof) then did searches, zip code by zip code. It took maybe 20 minutes to scan the country. Then I'd open another browser tab on the dealership with a truck I wanted and take a closer look.

I have offered to provide this service for a small fee, but I didn't find any takers!

They are both TrueCar, so you can only use one.

There are a number of places you can get this (Allstate, Sam's Club, AmEx, etc) it is through TrueCar. If you join PenFed you can get $1000 instead. Just initiate a search through one of the services and you should get a certificate number either instantly or emailed. Only one can be used.

For those who do not want to join PenFed or can't wait 60 days for the $1000.
You can use this direct TrueCar link to the $500 certificate.

I was able to use the PenFed and the 0% financing offer together.

Thanks! I’m not a fan of Chrome, and while I really like the Night Edition, I am fine with the Sport Package. Just trying to identify the best time to jump
