After only 22,000 miles on my Pedal Commander, it caused all sorts of problems last night. Multiple error codes, truck would accelerate on its own, then not go very fast no matter how much you pushed the accelerator pedal. I have never adjusted the PC while my foot is on the pedal either. It was fun while it lasted but that was downright dangerous last night. I wouldn’t put another one on if it was free and glad my wife or daughter wasn’t driving it when it messed up. I advise anyone to save their money. It isn’t worth it

I had that happen before on a Sprint Booster. Leave it off a few days and then put it back on if you want to try it again. That is the one supposed big side to the PedalMonster.

I am done with it. Be nice to have my almost $300 back but I know that is money down the drain. It is supposed to have a 2 year warranty but they probably just give you a new one. After what I experienced last night, they couldn’t pay me enough money to put one back on my truck. Lucky people weren’t killed

I didn't buy mine through Sprint Booster, actually amazon so never got a replacement. It only takes 1 time to lose trust in that not knowing when that would ever happy and if wasn't you driving.

Sorry to hear that. I have had mine for over 2 years and never an issue. I assume that once you removed it everything went back to normal and error codes are gone? When you say multiple error codes, what were the codes read off of your OBDII reader? Any dash lights come on?

A large majority of members have either the PC, Sprint, and a few others without issue. As with anything electronic, yours may have just gone south. Sad that it created such a scary situation.

Man that stinks, PC is on my short list 😬. On a side note how are you liking the S&B intake?

Lots of dash lights came on. Multiple error messages on the dash. Everything was fine after removing the PC. I hear what you are saying about yours not giving you any trouble. I would have said the same thing 2 days ago as mine had never given me a bit of trouble. That changed yesterday. I wouldn’t put one on my truck again for a million dollars. When these things mess up it can cost lives. I urge anyone with one of these on their truck to remove it before driving again.
I am sure people will get all defensive about these things and want to argue with me. Again, I enjoyed mine and it was trouble free for almost two years. Mine messed up last night and it almost cost several people their life.
I am not here to argue. Just to inform about what happened to me

I had the same experience about a month ago with my Pedal Commander. Went from a regular drive to acceleration on its own to limp mode. Dash lit up like a Christmas tree. Since I had my 4 year old in the truck with me I pulled over immediately. Removed the PC, started the truck and only check engine light remained on for a bit but finally reset itself. Through the Pedal Commander in the trash and I would never want to experience that again, especially with my son with me.

12500 miles so far on my PC in my ‘19 Laramie. Not one safety issue with the unit at all. Not trying to sway anyone. Just stating my experience.
I'm with ya my friend. I don't care what you buy...someone somewhere will have an issue with it. I've had mine for quite a while and I have no intentions on removing it. We're all big boys...do whatever makes you feel comfortable and safe. Anything electronic will fail eventually...some sooner than later. All of these electronics in our trucks, and any other vehicle you may buy, could create a safety issue. If I worried about everything that could happen, I'd never get out of bed each day.

I once was riding my BMX bike down a steep hill and the brakes locked up on me after I tapped them and I went head first over the handle bars. After I brushed myself off with no major injuries I threw the bike in the dumpster and never got on one again. To this day I won't let my kids near a bike.......:cautious:
