Picked up the truck today! Absolutely love it. Used the checklist and found some minor issues. 2 very small scratches which the dealer has in writing they will fix. As well as a half filled DEF tank and I believe low windshield wiper fluid. They filled it up and checked the coolant too. Also, the MFG Tailgate is so freakin' heavy like wtf haha. Also, the release for the normal drop down function button seems weird, almost like it's sticking, but works. Will have to see how it is when its not freezing. Also, the tow mirrors. Wow, I have like the same ones on my HD but these ones seem like way bigger blind spots, that will take some getting used to. As far as range, it says 441 miles when I got it and its already going up, at 460 or so now after driving 40 miles or so (Picked it up at 14 miles on the odometer). Expecting at least a 700 mile range in my 33 tank.

Got a pretty good deal, probably could have done a little better, but I'm happy with it overall, got a good discount, plus they put in my bonus cash, and I got my complimentary mx plan for 5 years / 50k miles on top of that. Trucked ordered on 1/22. Ram chat told me today: Thank you, I can see your vehicle has completed the initial build and is at the body vendor now having any additional or options equipment installed. This is the last stage in the build and will soon be moving onto shipping!
Anyone know exactly what "body vendor" is??

Ok now I’m pissed. I ordered on 12/18/2020. Ram customer care can’t tell me anything. I have VIN AND VON and no one knows when where who what why or anything. This is beyond frustrating as I see people who ordered in January and the already are puttin miles on their trucks!!! I’m a 30 yr Chrysler Master Technician that now thinks I should have ordered a FORD!!!!!!!

Welcome to my life brother! Same exact situation here. The RAM morons can't find anything besides my name when they search by the VIN. My dealer told me that they're not more than a 3rd party hotline - just not in India. I ordered 12/23 and my build date is set for 03/05 (per my dealer) but who knows. The new F150 powerboost is growing on me...

I’m in total agreement brother!! They have escalated my “information “ to the “specialist”......WTF does that mean?? Someone a popcorn fart smarter than the last dude with exactly no information? That freakin FORD SHOULD BE IN MY DRIVEWAY!!!!

Insist the dealer gives you your current POC. That will list the order date, current status code, date printed, VON, and VIN (if available). It will have your name and address on it, and if there is one yet, an estimated ship date. There should be no reason for them not to provide this to you upon request.

The dealer did provide updates (over the phone that is). But in cases when there is no update over an extended period of time he doesn't know why that is. Also he tells me a delivery within the month of March is not guaranteed. I find the hard to believe since the build date is set for the 5th and we live in throwing distance of the factory (usually ship date = delivery date). Something is off here....

For those of you that are waiting on an order, add the vital info about ur build in your signature. This way we can see if the builds that are taking the longest share the same features (eco diesel /etorque/ etc)

The assembly line actually doesn't work like that. Truck in front may be a Black Rebel Ecodiesel, behind you is a Red Tradesman V6, and you got a Grey TRX. Watch the assembly plant vids on youtube. It's just on how orders are sent in, parts, what the factory decides to do in lining up orders, etc.

relax... i heard only half of December orders have been built at this point, 3 months is the average build time now
