Problem with purchasing OEM LED tail lights

Long time watcher first time poster.

I’ve had a 20 Ram Night Edition for a little over a year now, plenty of upgrades. Recently, I have been trying to purchase a set of OEM LED Rebel style tail lights. I’ve purchased from 2 different online Mopar stores and have been denied. The stores refused to ship them to because my truck came with incandescent tail lights and they don’t recommend me upgrading.

I repeatedly explain that I did my research and I knew 100% that they would work. In addition, I explain that I take full responsibility and wouldn’t return the part but still they refused to ship and canceled my order.

Anyone else have these issues? Can anyone recommend an online store to purchase from?

It was my understand that the part # for the OEM LED rebel style tail lights are 55112992AD & 55112993AD. These parts comes without blind spot and cross path detection as it is only compatible with trucks that come with it.

I think they are looking for an LED-Equipped truck.
Should work just fine.
Also, You don't have to provide them with your VIN...

I tried ordering w/o the VIN and was sent an email stating they will not ship until the VIN is verified to ensure fitment.

each time was a 10 day ordeal including awaiting refund. Almost considered purchasing the Recons just to avoid the headache.

Try the one I posted... They're great.

Worse case, you can always order from the parts dept at your local dealership...

I successfully ordered a set of the OEM LED Tail Lights, Rebel Style from BAMwholesaleparts.com ( No Vin required ). Good price and Good communication thus far, should be here soon.

That sucks. I don’t believe you can replace the lens only. There is a thread on here that addresses cracked lens.

Is your part number for the "black" style, and my part number for the regular style led taillights?

The LEDs are so much better, I have no regrets

The part # you’re looking for is 55112991AD (left) and 55112990AD (right) both are without blind spot monitoring.
