Silent Bob - your guidance seems very good for vehicles on the lot. Do you have a similar outline for ordering a vehicle? I apologize if this has already been answered.
I can't speak for Bob, but I know from experience that rebates are decided on delivery...because they change from month to month.

I don’t think there’s that much difference, at least the dealer list remains the same.

The first part is the same either way. You need to negotiate for the lowest price before incentives/rebates are applied. Before ordering confirm by email that they will not be applying any discounts that would prevent you from getting any incentives/rebates you would qualify for. When your truck is about three or four weeks out begin to look for incentives/rebates you can apply when the truck arrives.

Added this today.

Extended Warranty/Service Contacts

These two sites have the lowest prices on Extended Warranty/Service Contacts.
Chrysler Factory Warranty - They are currently forum sponsors - LINK
Zeigler Factory Plans - They are usually the lowest price with code PAYINFULL - LINK

Does buying out of state voids lemon law coverage? How about who will take care of the warranty claims?

"When service is required, you should contact the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Alfa Romeo, or Fiat dealership closest to where you are."

Lemon laws vary by state.

I was at ram dealer's place and he showed me from his compute system, PenFed $1000 cash bonus and Ram website pop up $1500 cash bonus cannot be combined. If any of offer is chosen, ,the system will automatically grey out the other one. So you can only choose one. But both can be combied with Chrysler Capital $500 bonus if you finance with them.

search nationwide on sites like cars.com, Autotrader, and others find the dealers with the best advertised prices, and start calling. I found the "advertised price" no one can get. but all the dealers advertise with every available incentive. I live in WI and am buying my 2500 in KY the deal was $4K cheaper than they would give me in WI but I only got the WI dealer to that price after revealing the Agreement made with the KY dealer otherwise the WI dealer wanted $7500 more than the KY dealer I can take a couple day trip, see a new part of the country, and save $4K You bet!!! And if you dont want to go pick it up, most places will ship for you, for about $1200 just about anywhere in the country. Any dealer should do service, just like if you broke down while traveling. Its really no big deal.

For many, going out of state may be needed to get the best deal. If your best deal is hours away you can always try one last time at your local dealership by contacting the General Manager to see if he will match.

I drove 912 miles to save $13,350 off MSRP on my 2019 Limited.
Dam, I thought I was only that crazy. I got 14,500 off and 500 more for my trade then kbb said it was worth! I was very happy with the deal and I’d do it again! I got mine in North Carolina, drove from Iowa lol. However truck has been problems since day 1, I finally got ram to buy this pos back. My 2021 is being built now, should have it In Three weeks or so😁

I did that at 3 dealerships locally, they all said the same thing in slightly different words, "I dont know how they can sell it for that"

My experience is that those 3 dealers don't offer deals. The ones with the lower price sell below the combined factory discounts and rebates. The others need to make over $3K on each sale which is few. The low price dealers might make <$1K on each sale, but after selling 3 or more, they made more money. Making $1 is better than making no $.

I know some folks think that working with larger volume dealers is the key. That is where I started my search. Then I went to smaller dealers and I was able to get my 15% off of MSRP. I know for me, the key to any deal is to pick the truck that has been sitting on the lot for longer than normal, tell them you want it, but not for that price...and as always WALK AWAY for a day or two, then follow up with another call about still being interested.

I posted a thread earlier this week on tools and sites I used to get the best deal on my 2020 Rebel. One of the best was www.yourautoadvocate.com. It's a free site that lets you plug in the VIN of any vehicles you are interested in and will show you the MSRP, Sale(internet) price (with all the darn incentives whether you qualify or not), how many days it has been on the dealer's lot (defined by how many days it showed up on the dealer's website) and any comparable vehicles within say a 50 mi radius.

For more info here's my thread. Some of the same info as SilentBob but also some new stuff. Hope it helps

You might want to add https://fightingchance.com/
This guy probably has some of the best information about getting the lowest price.

Wondering if anyone has ordered and followed through the purchase with Koons in Virginia?
So many mixed reviews on the internet (of course).
How was your experience?
They gave me a nice Out the Door price on a build, but I am concerned because they are 500 + miles away, and I would hate to think I might commit, only to be met with a less than ideal closing, or surprises when it's time to do the deal.
Thanks for any feedback.

Don't travel to pick it up without a signed buy order in hand. Unless using the delaership's financing, show up with signed buy order in hand AND a cashier's check for the exact amount listed. They may **** around, but at the end of the day, the check is the same as a pile of cash to the dealer. Hard to walk away from on their end.
