I live in the Memphis, TN area. Had a eTorque Limited with advanced safety (not level 1), trailer tow brake, 33 gal fuel, 3.92, anti-slip diff. No Ramboxes.

MSRP is $67k
Their first offer was $65k OTD (TN tax rate is 7%)
I countered $57.5k OTD (with a goal of meeting around $60k

They basically told me to get lost. Didn’t even come back with a counter. Seems like around Memphis, dealers aren’t coming off MSRP.

Most dealers only have 1-2 limiteds on lot, so they could be a factor, I suppose. Was a bit surprised they didn’t even try to haggle given it’s the last day of the sales month. May have to do a national search or find a reasonable dealer elsewhere. Definitely open to suggestions.

Is this on both factory orders and what they have on the lot?

How do you calculate invoice? It’s typically below MSRP right?

I never understood the big deal about nitrogen. Seems to me that Boyles law remains the same weather its air, nitrogen, whatever. Never saw the benefit.

I think I lucked out this weekend. Went to dealer A Saturday for a Laramie MSRPed at $50760, after rebate I insist $38300, dealer wants $38600, I would've taken it should it comes with Level 1, but it doesn't and has 220 miles on it. Nevertheless, the price even at $38600 is fantastic, 24% off MSRP for a Laramie is awesome.

Went to dealer B today for a Bighorn MSRPed at $47830, shoot for $36068, dealer insists $36568, I surrendered as it has everything I need. 23.5% off for a Bighorn is an OK deal.

Rationally, I should go with dealer A as the resale value of Laramie vs Bighorn will even out the price difference, or even more. But wife doesn't like leather smell, so settled with dealer B. No trade-in involved and I qualified for $2000 additional rebate. How did I do and which one will you choose?

Just ask to see the price order confirmation. It shows the msrp, invoice, friends and family pricing (1%under invoice) employee pricing and hold back. As another member stated- you can also use truecar as a close estimate. I know the limited trim is 91% of msrp. Not sure if that holds true of all trims.

Deal on the Rebel I just purchased was pretty decent. MSRP $60K, discounts and rebates were $8300. Trade was $15K which was the best I could do anywhere. All in w tax was $40,330.

I am getting 10k from MSRP , 7k discount and 3k rebate
This is in Colorado... I'm moving to San Antonio
I am in Colorado and likely get one from Dillon. Tickets from Denver are less than $100 and an 800 mile drive is worth it. Local dealers would still be 3K above their quote. Regarding that truck, I would never get one with the trailer tow group because it negates the power fold and 360 view.

Nice, are these %'s below invoice excluding or including RAM rebates?

-$4,000 Customer Rebates
-$9,034.57 negotiated at dealer

What and how do you exactly negotiate over 9k? First time I will be buying a car and could use some advice.

I just bought mine this past Saturday for $15K under sticker. No BS. I saved a ton of money at Jimmy Britt Ram in Dublin, GA (about 100 miles south of Atlanta/50 miles south of Macon). I highly recommend!!

The pic is the truck I bought and yes, I got all of the $15K off and I don’t own a tractor and am not a recent college grad or first responder. I am military though but that’s only $500 off. They are a no nonsense dealership in the south where a handshake is their word. Great business!

One thing though, I didn’t get a owners manual. They said Ram doesn’t give those out anymore. I find that odd but for $15K off, I can download a manual. Please let me know if this is accurate or not though.

Use Ram Chat on ramtrucks.com and they will gladly mail you one. I highly recommend the download too since you can search on it. There are a few things in odd locations.
