Now for something sightly less confrontational... I installed a bedrug. As others on this forum have discovered, the bedrug for 4th gen rambox trucks fits our 5th gens. Bedrug claims they don't make a product for the 5th gen rambox.... But really they just need to edit the description in their existing rambox model.

As usual with bedrug, the product fits and looks great!

Looks good!! ive been toying around with the idea of going this route. is it easy to clean dirt out of it i go to the desert quite a bit and thats what holding me back.

I zip tied my switch to a little piece under the dash under the steering wheel. It is suprisingly very secure the way I did it and does not wiggle. Not the easiest location to easily find the switch without feeling around a little under the dash when I want to switch it. But it works and I didnt need to put a hole in my dash.

I come from a full family of veterans, my father being one of them who served over 30 years. He was more than excited to help place these decals on my truck. I mentioned to him the critique I received for showing my pride and he had the same reaction as you. Thank you for your understanding.

I also have the one on my grille, which doesn't have 50 stars but I haven't had any complaints, only compliments.

Seems the other guy is a little more worked up over it, so I hope that wasn't directed towards my initial comment. I reached out to the seller to see if he would be willing to make some with the "correct" orientation for display on passenger side a d he said it would be too difficult for him. So I left it at that. It looks good and as long as you are okay with it, then don't worry about me or others. As I said, it will keep me from buying them. I have a local friend that does vinyl that I may reach out to and see if he would be able to make some.

Added some weather stripping to reduce the rub from the dura liner. And I added rails and cargo divider today...now I need to finder a compatible cover (just when you think you can just drive it...lol)

Just finished up this project today by installing some lights in the back of the bed. I have it hooked up to the white and tan wire everyone talks about on here. I like that as soon as I open the gate it turns on . Pretty slick!!!

In my old truck i wired my lights so when my brights came in they triggered a relay turning on all my light bars.

Advantage here is all your wiring stays in the engine bar. You would tap the wire for your brights then use that to trigger a relay per light set up. I had a pillars and 2 front 30” bars so ran 3 relays.

Not really what I did to my Ram but brought my oldest to his Covid class pictures. I hate how fast he’s growing up.

I know the feeling and love your channel.
Knowing my son will never be this small again is rough! I know he will grow up to be a fine young man and his first vehicle will be my Ram (assuming gasoline vehicles aren't banned in 16 years).
