Just ordered 5100s and a readylift 2 in front level kit, wanted the UCAs. I don't plan on going to big with tires. Thoughts on rear 1 inch or stock height and bringing the front up some? I'm between 33 or 34" tires, probably 33 just due to cost per tire.

I’m thinking of going a similar route but I want a 3.5 inch lift all around like the readylift 3.5 sst but with bilsteins. Thinking of doing bilstein 5100 in the front at setting #5 or so combined with a Motofab 2inch top hat spacer and RC forged aluminum upper control arms. Then in the rear no spacer (unless needed) just bilstein 1inch lift shocks. This should level the truck at 3.5 inches with no rake. I’m on stock suspension no ORP.

It will be high in the front, trust me these trucks have to be an inch higher in the back when measuring tire to fender for the actual body to be level

Will I need a coil spacer to add an inch in the rear with the Bilstein 0-1" shocks?

That's what I thought, thank you. Any certain brand for a 1" that would be recommended?

when looking at the Mopar lift kit which is struts, shocks, rear spacer and UCA ‘s , it also includes bumper pad spacers and new track bar brackets. I understand the UCA’s but why the bumper pad and track bar parts? Is this required due to the two inch rear adjustment? Have not heard of anyone on this forum replacing these items when adding one inch to rear. Ready to order the Bilstein’s plus a one inch rear spacer but want to make sure I won’t need anything else.

If you’re going Bilstein rear shock and 1” spacer (or 1” taller coil) you don’t need any other parts.

I have a ORP truck, which has the longer coil, and confirmed I can still add 1” with the rear 5100s. So if you don’t have ORP, you can actually go up to 2” higher safely.

Thanks, I want to maintain some rake after I install Bilstein’s could go down to # 3 or #4 but I want closer to 2” so will go #5 and if is nose high will add the spacer in back, thanks

No problem. Just another data point for you... all depends on your build.

I have a crew cab Laramie with pano and rambox, and ORP springs. I set my 5100s to #5 position and found the front was high by about 1/4” with a Retrax metal cover on. I dropped to #4 position and now about 1/4” of rake. By most other accounts, I should have had some rake with #5 setting.

My truck is probably a bit heavier in the back side than most.

Either way, I’m happier with the ORP in #4 position as they absolutely ride softer than #5 after trialing both. I was limited by garage door height to not going another 1” higher in the back if I ever want to bump up a tire size, so more lift wasn’t my preferred option. I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out.

Not really, they’re pretty identical , I think mine were ZY brand - AMAZON
Those with rear spacers- is there a material preference- some are billet metal , some are composite material, assume if it seated properly both will work same, but perhaps cheaper ones may crack over time

Thanks for insight, interesting that u noticed quite a difference between the 4 and 5 setting. I have non ORP 2 wd. Wanted a little height and ability to go with 285/60 tires, maybe setting 4 will work. Just assumed 5 as seems to be everyone’s preference

Does anyone have the ORP p/n for the rear coil springs as I want to see the cost difference between this and spacers for the 1 inch additional lift in rear?

Trust me on the icon rear springs. They will ride better and give 1.5” lift. Less squat when towing. It’s the secret sauce! 5160’s should be used with them.

Hey all, new to the forum. Been sifting through all day trying to find info on lifts and my mind is going in circles of different setups. Just got the 2020 Bighorn Built to Serve non-ORP 4wd. This virus im assuming is keeping BDS from coming out with a 4" for the 2020s and looking to find the closest lift to it without going with brands such as RC or SST. The bilstein with icon setup caught my eye. Whats the total lift with the bilsteins all around with icon springs? My goal is to fit 35s leveled as anything smaller looks weird on the 5th gens.
