After a few month's of searching inventory, I gave up and decided to order a truck. A local dealer agreed to Koons pricing as long as I paid the $799 processing fee they charge. 2020 Laramie 4x4 MSRP - $65,515. Selling price $56,408 + $299 doc fee minus any rebates at time of delivery. If rebates hold steady, looking at around a 24% total discount off of MSRP.

Thats ok sounding depending on the travel costs to get to Maryland and back with the Kz truck. If you can get the same thing option wise or at least what you really want there locally, it’s always better to be local.

Saves a long trip as well. I didn’t get anyone to match prices but I saved 24 hrs of just driving, not to mention stops, meals, overnight etc...

I don’t think any short of a major dealer would have a clue, and they aren’t telling. It wouldn’t be in their favor to let you know to wait. They want you to buy now due to uncertainty.

EHHH, not bad, $11675 is ok, but on a 19, they've reached $16K off on a 19 here.
Hey Everyone, I have been following this thread for a few months and its been helpful. I am in SoCal and have been looking at 2020 Rebels but it has been a sellers market and after Memorial Day inventory is next to nothing out here. Now looking at a 2019 Rebel in Central Valley. MSRP is 64,075, got it down to 52400 before tax and license but lost out on the 0% interest. Got 72 months @ 3.98 but will refinance with USAA after 90 days. Have to drive 4 hours to pick up but wanted to get opinions on the deal. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

That’s awesome! In hindsight I should have fought it harder than I did.

Seriously, check into whether you can get out of it. A lot of those heavy sales pressure plans can be refunded. Actually, the dealer I bought from had a section of their website to apply for a refund.

They have a “Financing” tab, and “Product Cancellation” right there to end your coverage.

I wouldn’t just dismiss it as a done deal. See if you can get that back.

$17143 is the BIGGEST discount I have been offered on a 19. However, it was a tradesman 4x4 crew, and I wanted more than a Tradesman. I ended up with a Big Horn.

NOTE! It actually was cheaper, because they threw in the running boards on the last quote.

So I’m looking at a 2019. It’s 53k MSRP. Dealer is advertising a -$5800 dealer discount and -$4000 rebate. Said if I do 0% for 72m the $4k rebate goes away so I planned to skip it and do conventional finance. They are supposed to call me back because they think there might be a rebate for the financing too.
I’m sort of shocked to see what some folks post in here.

What do folks here think the dealer discount portion should be considering it’s a 2019?

Where are you located Dinky? All my local dealers laugh and say goooood luck. Closest quote has been around 5k more expensive than Koons for a custom order.

Dealer discount seems great.
Is the added ~$3k in you finance total interest? If yes I think that’s good. If not and they are removing the $3k rebate & adding some fees I’d skip Chrysler financing, take the $3k rebate, and use a local bank or credit union for the loan.
You should be able to get similar rate and I like being able to go to a bank if needed.

0% option seems to cost you $3,188.
2.29 option seems to cost you $3,575 + loan interest.

you’d be better off at $50,188 and your own loan at 2.29 ish At 72m.
Interest would be $3,500 ish so your truck cost at end of loan is ~$54k.
Or do the 0% for 72 since it’s similar cost at end of loan (no interest).

I got this truck for an extra 2000 off what it shows for financing through chrysler. Thats 14244 off msrp or 27.5%. This was back in march.

Wow. That’s awesome. I even checked the math!
I guess this 2019 I’m looking at and mentioned above really should be discounted more than I’m seeing. Have to see what dealer says if they call me. - Paul G.

It took about a year of casual looking for those stars to align. Still almost walked away because they did short me about 1000 on the trade.
