Try the Kicker CSC354 for the dash they are great speakers and cost half of the infinity. Since you do have a lease I personally would just upgrade the dash for a brighter stage and add a sub. You can always pull the sub out and add it to your next vehicle or sell it and get some of your money back. The base 6 speaker system is the easiest to upgrade and you will not have to cut any of the factory harnesses. Simply buy a T-harness from net audio link below or make one your self (half price). Now the real trick is the subwoofer Amp and enclosure do your research it could add up quick. The ANC is just for the drone removing it will not impact anything else.

I appreciate your feedback. I really don't want to run additional wires through my truck or have to look for a place to add a sub or mount an amp. The only thing that really bothers me about the stock speakers is the distortion I get from the base coming from the door speakers, which is why they are my target for replacement. The less I have to take apart in the dash, the more comfortable I feel. Seeing some of these posts really freaks me out, thinking I might mess something up on this brand new truck.

The Kicker is a nice upgrade, I didn't even need the Metra adapters when I did my Jeep. I still think you will need the bass blockers for the dash, but I'm not 100% on that

So how did you do it without the Metra adapters?

The three way is too sharp, I swapped for the 2 way and it's much better for me

Yeah, I went with the JBL 3 ways for the front and rear doors and they are way too bright. I'm going to have to swap them out for 2 ways. I had to turn the treble down to -2 and that's hurting sound quality.

Do you have enough base coming from those 6x9 Kickers? I was going with the Infinity because of how deep it got without distortion. I have heard only one person say they have enough base from the 6x9 and they are running Infinity Reference. Can't remember if they are running the 9632 or the 9633, but they say it is almost too much base. That is what I am going for with the door speakers...decent/good base without distortion, to avoid the amp and sub install.

Yeah my infinity’s don’t seem bright at all. They are actually the opposite in mine where I had to turn the bass way down because they were playing soo much bass and not much highs

That's what I used in my Jeep, they worked fine, but I had the 9 speaker system, the base 6 speaker system is a different animal. the Infinity's put out nice bass, I would go with the
Infinity Reference 9632IX front and back if I had the base system

Before the Rebel the last time I bought a new truck was 15-years ago. So I’ve been learning about all the new car technologies since. One of which has been what ANC does. So after a Google search I found this great resource on it I thought I’d pass along. Although not brand specific it does a good job of illustrating how it works.

This makes so much sense why there are polarity issues and why one system is not the same as another, in terms of how many speakers are out of phase. Basically the ANC is a highly intuitive system that reads all the different noises coming into the cab and generates a 180 degree phase shift to counteract those noises. There is no way this can be anything but specific for each vehicle. This system, from what I understand, is passive and active in that it is a fixed system but it is constantly adjusting to counteract engine and road noise. This also explains why no matter how your speakers factory speakers read polarity wise, you just want to make sure the new speakers are hooked up in the same way the factory output presents them to be. Please correct me if I am wrong, but this is very eye-opening for me not understanding much about car audio and electrical schematics.

Sorry for all the questions, but really only want to do this once and be done. So JBL vs Kicker vs Infinity for overall sound quality. JL, Hertz, and CDT are outside my budget. I would like to stick with the same brand in all locations on my 6 speaker upgrade. Also are polarity issues still occuring with the 2020 models? Crutchfield says Metra 6514 for my doors, but i keep reading 71-050.

Interesting you say this, I have the base 6 speaker (was a 5" screen replaced with an 8.4), i just have kicker 3.5's and rear Infinity 9633ix and ive got the bass on like +5 (or like 3 positions from max) and the bass is legit blowing my head off. So much I almost dont even need to run a sub (but ive got a 10" slim waiting to go in). I find the bass unbelievable honestly for not having a sub, I think my truck with just the 4 speaker replacement is one of the better sounding vehicles ive had. I run my speed volume on 2, and a volume of 20 is loud as hell, 22+ hurts my hears its so loud and the bass is great. I can tell the bass is at the limit due to getting slightly muddy at that volume but thats what the sub is for and then i can take some bass outta the door and dash speakers.

I did unpin my ANC mic'c because I could hear some feedback and droning even stock, do not notice any difference in cabin quietness I would just unpin them and be done, but it didnt seem to make any difference in output volume sorry to say.

From what I have read, you are one of the few people that have said the 6x9 upgrade has provided you enough base that you almost don't need a sub. I too was planning to go with it Infinity Reference, either 9632ix or 9633ix, because I don't really hate the stock system, but I would like some clearer base in the 6 speaker system. My goal is to get better sound, spending as little as possible, this trying to avoid the amp and sub route. But I am really on the fence as to whether or not I am opening up a can of worms by starting to mod this system and longing for more, or just leaving well enough alone and sticking with stock. What are your thoughts on this?

Final set-up, base 6 speaker system, in case someone wants a quick idea of one option:

Kicker 44KSC3504 in dash corners
Infinity Reference REF-9632ix in front doors (TWEETERS DISABLED)
Infinity Reference REF-9633ix in rear doors
Rockville 10" Powered Sub hidden behind the rear wall carpet - high level inputs off the L/R rear doors at the amp (probably will swap for a thin 12 later)

Running +6 bass, -1 Mid, -3 Treble. All speakers NEGATIVE phase as it came stock. ANC disabled (de-pinned at harness)

Sounds GREAT for a low cost setup, total cost about $350. Whatever I did could not get rid of piercing horrible treble from the front 9632's at max negative treble on the EQ, cut tweeter wire and problem solved, plenty of treble from the dash speakers and rear.

Do you think having the 9632s in all 4 doors would make much of a difference. Is there something about that 3-way 9633 that would be lost in sound quality, or would I get enough highs from the dash speakers? Also do you think you would achieve any better sound balance or quality from the Infinity cfx3032 over the Kickers you currently have? Finally, last question I promise, are you still happy or at least satisfied with the Rockville 10" powered sub, or are you planning to upgrade? I ask because I think we are trying to achieve the same thing with as little out of pocket as possible. Thanks for your feedback.

Ask away my friend no worries, let me start with the sub, I'm satisfied with it, but it's no powerhouse. It adds nice low end, but its not able to hit super low frequencies. I'm thinking about trying to fit the Rockwell slim 12 box back there instead, there might be just....just enough room.

After months of living with this system I'm still bothered by excessive treble (even after cutting the front tweeters). The only way it sounds good is via Bluetooth where I can use my phone's EQ to cut out the super high frequencies. I have my treble at maximum negative and still I get piercing highs over Android auto or XM if I turn it up super loud. It's either just the way infinities sound, or IMO the stock 6 speaker amp is just blowing up treble internally since it's tuned to compensate for not having any tweeters at all stock.

So over Bluetooth I am satisfied with it, over xm or Android auto it's annoying. It sounds good enough but I know it's not perfect. I'm either going to cut out the tweeters in the rear 3ways, wire in some filters, or break down and amp the whole thing, I just don't really want to throw more money at it since it's pretty much "good enough". I can't tell you about the infinity dash speakers, although seeing as my other infinities gave me treble issues I'd be hard pressed to try them.

I think I was MOST happy before I replaced my rear door speakers.

I have not upgraded the door speakers yet but I do have a pair of CDT 6x9's inbound for the front doors that I will swap in when I add the passive entry stuff.
