I was hoping that by ordering late I could avoid some of these problems. I guess the factory still hasn't fixed the water leak problem.
However, everything else works, and the AC is more than adequate on my Ram!

Showed the Service Writer the video. She wants me to show the video to the service manager when I show up for my appointment on Monday.

Wonder how they are going to go about fixing it...

Cheers

I just went and looked at 4 2020's and every one of them had water under the carpet is this exact same spot! Needless to say I walked away. I love the Truck but not the headaches that will follow. Thanks for posting this. You saved me from making a bad decision.

Well after sealing the 3rd brake light it is still leaking. I told them that I didn't think it was the 3rd brake light. I said why don't you check the shark din antenna and they said that it wasn't wet up there. I told them the water might run off of it fast enough to keep it from soaking it. They opened a star case about it. I said well if you don't fix it fast you can go ahead and order me a new back seat also. Then he just gave me one of those crazy looks.

Got a call from the dealership today that they pulled the headliner and found the water was leaking through a Crack in the Fram that is mounted on the rear window. They said the window frame on the cab wasn't hurt and that they ordered a new rear window and should be in next week lol. I'll believe that when I see it. I'm just glad they found the problem.

It's hard to believe that they haven't fixed the water leak problem at the factory by now!

For those who suspect a leak at the exterior stop lamp above the rear glass---this is the way our local dealership service manager checked for leaks; he would get a plastic bottle of water with some mild soap mixed in and spray all over the lamp; then, making sure all windows were up, forcefully shut one of the doors and if soap bubbles were seen you knew there was water leaking inside.

add me to the list. Rear window leak. Passenger side. Dealer had to replace the rear window. Tried my best to clean and dry the carpet but they still smell. Going back to the dealer as now my rear defroster doesn’t work and hopefully replace the carpet.

Had my window replaced today, inspected the work performed, walked back inside and told the service advisor that the rear defroster sure isn't gonna work with the wires disconnected!

They sent it to a body shop that removed the front fender and did some caulking. Hasn't leaked since.
Gerry

Did the service dept send it to the body shop? Thats great if they did and not try to repair it themselves.
