This may sound dumb but i picked up my 2019 few weeks back and there was a clunking noise at the most random times and circumstances, turns out there was a very recent recal done, they took it in and withing a few hours had it fixed, one week no clunking at all

Installed mine on Sunday. I went straight for the stiffest setting. Like the improved handling but most of all I like that it eliminates all rebound swaying when going around corner, curb, etc. Body leans a little bit and then comes back to straight. I wouldn't say its a HUGE difference, as I thought the truck handled well before, but enough to make it worth the $225 to me.

What's your payload? (so how heavy is your truck)

Hey everyone, what is general consensus on the need, or lack thereof, for the Hellwig endlinks? If it makes a noticeable difference, I can see that it would be worth the extra $100. If not, I will be thrilled to apply that sum of cash to another project on the truck.

This thread has convinced me at the very least that the sway bar is a no-brainer, so I plan on ordering this week...once Dorian makes his way past Florida and things normalize again.

Thank you in advance!

Hi, I just ordered the sway bar today (without the end links). I called Kevin @ hellwig, shared some photos of my 2" lifted end link angles and he said i did not need them. Here are the photos of my truck lifted 2" in the rear.

I interpreted that as "moving it down more, will not make a difference."

Kind of off topic, but I am in love with your garage floor... I know. I‘m weird :D

Lol i am too! It’s gray with navy and white chips. I’m a huge yankee fan so the whole garage is quite yankee themed. Sorry for the mess! I just got finished doing the ceiling, lighting and cabinets so still “moving in” from my attached garage.

I'd say you don't need them at all. Ram comes with a stock rear bar and the Hellwig just replaces it, allowing you to use the stock Ram links. I've never heard anyone even bring up the idea that they are not stout enough for the stiffer Hellwig.

Spend the money elsewhere.

Agreed, even the hellwig guy said mine looked ok even at a slightly upward angle.

And if you've got the air suspension, there's no way to have the bar ends parallel to the ground at every AS setting. If that was OK for Ram with the stock setup, I've got no issue with it on the Hellwig.

And it performs great with the stock links on AS BTW.
