Maybe they just want to get it right for the U.S market, hence the delay. For us Canadians, we can get half finished products. We are too polite to complain about it anyhow.

Grand Marais in Ontario shows as a FCA factory and a large Chrysler building. Look on Google maps.

It's also a border entry point. I dont think they would invoice the truck and ship it to a minivan plant.

A minivan plant sounds like a perfect place to send ram boxes to. Minivans are a dying bread so the employees there have lots of time to fiddle around with bad latches and incorrectly places lids. I think yours is heading that way as we speak.

For what it's worth, my dealer said some of the the delays with the RamBoxes had something to do with a tailgate issue and said FCA is fixing the trucks that have not shipped yet so the recall is completed before delivery. The mystery continues.........

The all knowing has corrected me again. Henceforth I shall defer all opinions and comments to Him as FCA and the dealers do not provide too many answers.

Just trying to stick to facts man. KZ is released by the plant. Trucks have shipped. Its "black and white". No hearsay, rumor or side talk. All these dealers and reps and blah blah blah all say conflicting information so it's safe to go with what's actually happened.

Here's is a bit of comic relief. So the "chat" agent I IM'ed with calls me back by phone. Says even though it's been 45 days since I ordered, she was not able to escalate it. The new standard is now 75 days for escalation. So I ask naively, what changed? She proceeds to tell me that Ram and Jeeps are being ordered in such mass quantities that FCA can't keep up, demand it just too high. That's causing delays, they just can't produce that many and their chat and phone line are being inundated with calls because dealers are setting unrealistic delivery expectations of 6 to 8 weeks instead of 10 to 12. So I listen to this story and then say, "You know, the last 7 FCA vehicles I ordered in the past 3 years all showed up in about 6 weeks (including a hellcat), do you think it could maybe be the Rambox option production issues you're having that's the hold up?" She says, "why yes, but they'll get those fixed very soon, can you call us back in 2 or 3 weeks" "Sure, thanks for all the insight", I say.

Here you go... Rumor and everything is over.

This truck is IN STOCK according to Chrysler, it is sitting on the dealer lot WITH ramboxes.

AKA, they ARE shipping, as has been stated for a week now... So stop spreading rumors and listening to Ram chat or your uninformed dealers and salespeople. The trucks ARE shipping, they are even in stock in some places, its just a slow roll out.

Tailgate issue is for 2015-2017 trucks (1.1 million have been recalled). 2019 is not included in the recall.

Does it open up in the middle of the month each month? I remember seeing something about the monthly dates a while back, but couldn't find the post.

Man, really doesn't help when Ram's inventory search thing is broken. Half the results that show up when you search for trucks with the Rambox don't actually have Ramboxes per their window stickers.

I really don't know why FCA doesn't just pay have some interns design new public facing websites, it's not that difficult a concept, and even with having to tie them in to existing back end inventory/production systems wouldn't take more than a few weeks to do with an even remotely competent team.
