Just got home with my new Limited, Level 1 package, 33 gal tank, anti slip, pano sunroof, rambox, and 22" wheels. Got the dealer to install the tonneau for free. MSRP $68,550, less $16,000 in discounts. Pretty happy. Even got another 0.25% off the interest by getting an extended warranty.

Thrilled with my first new truck in 13 years!

Congrats! Care to share what your final interest rate and term were, and was it through Chrysler Capital or another lender?

I have tier 1 credit, and typically lease. But with this deal the cash discount is way better than leasing!

Thanks!

Good point about the different incentives and discounts. I probably over-payed by a little (or a lot, depending on where you live), but at the end of the day, I priced out everything from the Laramie trim level on up to a Limited, and found that for less than $5,000 difference between a gussied-up Laramie (the equivalent to the Lariat F-150 I had, with all the bells & whistles I wanted in a RAM), it made more sense to get the Limited. Wheels, leather, trim, other little extras all made sense to me, and my wife wasn't complaining [loudly enough for me to hear].

Now that my truck has almost 1,200 miles on it, I am as happy as I've been with a vehicle in a LONG time! This truck is literally a stress-reliever for me, so whatever the cost is, I am a happy camper.

-John
I need to adopt that attitude, instead of moaning over recent rebate hikes, ha ha. At least my wife isn't chiding me for buying it (for her).

Looking at maybe upgrading from a big horn to a limited. Dealer has a “once in a lifetime” offer going on lol. MSRP $68630 with a discount of $14845 brings the price before TTL/trade to $53785...21.6% off. What do you guys think?
I've recently seen Laramie Longhorns for 33% off MSRP so I'd say that's not the deal of a lifetime that you are getting...

Congrats. Did you get the dealer to just install the tonneau for free, or did they throw in the cover plus the installation for free? Just curious.

I'm looking for a red limited with NO sunroof, and no 22" wheels looks like i"ll be ordering a 2020
yellowboy,

what zip code are you near?
I just did a check on the ramtrucks build your vehicle and found 6 within 150 miles of zip code near me. You can change the zip code at the top right of the build your vehicle page. Most importantly it shows you the dealerships around you and their current inventory!!!! So you might find the vehicle you want near you and may be worth the trip with these MSRP's saving going on now:

I just tried the link above, you will need to swipe over the miles at the top left of the page to max and it will show the 6 available.

Change the zip code at top right and should give you whats in your area. Click on the black tab by the vehicle it will go directly to that dealership's website to that specific vehicle.

Website gets a bit tricky and goes back to original, so you may have to add your criteria on the left side again.

Hope this helps!!!

Yes just confirmed that destination charge is included in that $55k MSRP and it was $1695.
That is a great deal you got. I calculated as 22.5% off MSRP. Very comparable to my deal. I was able to achieve 23.82% off on a $57,930 Laramie. I think there was probably $500 more in incentives when I got mine in March plus I used $1000 USAA discount which helped to achieve my total discounts and bring it up to the $23.82%. I really shopped around for this deal at multiple dealers so you should feel very good about your price.

Parts and labor included.

FYI, I did not get the bed utility group in my package which I thought I wanted. Come to find out, on a limited trim all that adds is the bed divider!!

Thanks so much for telling me that man. I had a feeling I got a great deal but knowing how much research you did makes me feel good. I also used the $1,000 USAA incentive and negotiated a bed liner to be added at cost which is part of that $43k before TTR price. I am really happy with the truck. The only nervousness I have is that my AC does seem to be on the weaker side...not a huge deal as it doesnt get too hot in San Diego but sorta bummed that is even a thing I have to think about.

That AC thing is a known issue and there are many threads on it. Luckily I seem to not have that issue. Mine is a late February build and the AC seems to blow adequately. One of these days I will put a thermometer in it to hopefully verify some low 40's temperature blowing out of it. People have hacked it by putting a heater core bypass valve under the hood but then I think you might loose the auto temp functionality but you would get very cold air with the AC...hopefully FCA will issue a recall or TSB or something for this as many people have the issue it seems.

Yeah mine is a March 2019 build and honestly I think if I hadn't read forums I wouldn't have even noticed. Has it been shown that later builds are better than the older ones in this area?

Some people say theirs works well and a lot people say it does not work well. I do not think there has been any conclusion that later builds are better than earlier ones however there were a couple TSBs issued for the earlier ones so theoretically the later builds should already have this implemented:
February 15, 2019 - Flash: HVAC Diagnostic and System Updates - # 24-001-19
July 13, 2018 - A/C Systems Contain Fluorescent Leak Check Dye in Factory Fill - # 2400818

I feel kinda silly, just sat and finally "tested" the AC rather than just casually turning it on and playing with the vents. Mine seems to be plenty strong and cold. Glad that is something I can no longer stress about.

At the top right of the link where it says "change" and has a zip code there, click on it and add your zip code. Then once the page refreshes, go to the left side of the page where it says "search within" and click one time on the little black circle (with 3 lines in it) and hold down and slide it over it will increase the mileage of the search. This way you can search up to 150 miles of the zip code you put at the top right of the screen.

I remember there was a big volume dodge dealership in Virginia that had some great deals when I was looking; just cant remember their name/zip code. You just have to play around with the link and modify it to what you are searching for in your truck.

When you are looking at the trucks that are available, you may have "exact matches" or it may say "8 of 10" ---click on the "8 of 10" and it will show you what matches and what it did not have based on the criteria you selected on the left side of the selection screen. You can change many things on the left side, crew/quad cab, drive 2 or 4wheel etc...
Again, you just have to play around with it. Once you find the vehicle you like click on the "view dealer site" black bar to the right of the vehicle and it will take you to the dealership's website so that you can see it further in detail.

I found Hillsborough NC:

some others-----

I put in a zip code near Richmond VA (23173) came up with a few. Here is one of them:

Another:

Put some time into it/may seem frustrating a bit but the savings and a trip to one of these other places may be worth it to you with the deals that are out there now.

yellowboy,

Here is that Kernersville (Greensboro, NC) that a member mentioned earlier with a listing/savings down to $45,335
Don't know if you qualify for all the rebates but it is worth checking it out!!!!

If it is true about those 15-25% off BEFORE rebates....you should definitely check them out to verify

Where did you see that? o_O I don’t care much for the cowboy theme but I am cool with it for 33 percent off!
It was a Virginia RAM dealer, you’d have too search some posts... I’ll try looking again. I believe the dealer was in Fredericksburg.
Lustine Ram I believe. I checked 2 days ago and the trucks are gone, figures at that price, although they have others. My Kernersville NC RAM dealer has steeper discounts on Limited than Lustine does... I believe $17K off MSRP.

Kernersville RAM has this LL advertised: (26% discount I believe)
2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Truck Crew Cab

Long time lurker, first time poster. Heading to pickup my Ram tomorrow. I had it locked in with a dealer on a black Longhorn, then other dealer came to senses and matched it. It is Ivory and is my first pick as I live down gravel roads/gravel driveway and looks clean with gravel dust, where black does not.

Details on deal:
2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn Crew Cab 5’7” 4x4 in Ivory White Tricoat
5.7L Hemi, 3.21, Anti-Spin rear axle, Advanced Safety Group, Level 1 Equipment Group, 33gal fuel tank, Trailer brake control, Panoramic sunroof, w/20” wheels.

MSRP: $66,050
Out door price with $200 processing fee: $48,042 +TTL
