New transmission installed in my truck last week, I picked it up Tuesday (4/30/19) which was three weeks to the day from dropping it off (I had a loaner the entire time). So far (knock on wood) the transmission seems to be OK, but when towing my light utility trailer <2500 pounds loaded, it seems to runs a gear lowered on hills etc. than the old transmission or at least that's my impression. Drove the 25 miles to my house from the dealership and the CEL comes on. Spun around back to the dealership, they scanned the truck, O2 sensor Bank 1. New sensor was ordered and will be swapped out 5/6. While not trans related on Thursday 5/2 I hooked up my trailer with the Polaris Ranger aboard and tried to start the truck. The brake pedal went down with no resistance and the truck would not start when the button was pushed. It would cycle through the various settings but no start, the trans selector panel was all lit up, I think every LED was on. I was blocking my driveway so I said what the heck and hit the remote start on the key fob. The truck fired up, everything returned to normal and I drove off, cautiously. The CEL is on again, not sure if it's the O2 sensor or the "no start" deal. These trucks are good looking, ride and handle well, BUT, they are really problematic. Total mileage at this point is ~2500 miles. I didn't have this much trouble with my 05 hemi or 07 diesel in 12 years of driving. Too many bells and whistles that haven't been thoroughly tested before being fielded, these trucks are not apps on a smart phone that can be easily patched/updated (are you listening FCA). Thankfully my servicing dealer has been very receptive to my complaints and concerns, I feel sorry for you folks that hit a brick wall with your dealerships.
