Spent the afternoon detailing the truck. Really took my time. Interior deep clean, Pressure wash rinse, spray cannon clean, removed old wax, light clay bar, rinse, dry and then applied F11 topcoat. Had some friends that had good results with F11 so I decided to give it a try as well. Think I was out there 4 hours. Enjoy every minute of it. My wife calls it a sickness.. Y'all understand me, right?

It hurts me just to look at it

Can’t expect much for a 5 minute 20$ wash. Need to take a page out of @umattera’s book! Thats the way to clean a vehicle. But I don’t think I’ve had that much free time in years! In fact I only slept for 3 1/2 hours last night.

Ordered the AFE Cold Air Intake - $312 shipped - not bad. Going to try and install next weekend.

Have a 24" Magnaflow Muffler on already - hoping this helps with the sound - plan on adding a full Magnaflow Catback eventually to really pull everything together

Shopping for a hood deflector. Really like the Aeroskin II I had on my previous Ford. Ran across this one just now. Anyone see this before? Any pics on a new ram/ rebel?

LMAO!!!!! After clay bar rinse, the smoothness is soooooooo sweet!!!

Yes I can relate back to those days.

Understanding the meaning of our special toys/products applies to both the man and woman. I am sure she has her favorites that you can poke fun of her with too!!!

Its like the first few years with my WWW(Woman-Warden-Wifey) and Christmas gifts; she wanted things for the kitchen. I remember saying I want to get you something more meaningful and personal than a kitchen product. She look at me and said "Honey, you are normally so observant, I can't believe you don't understand!!!" $50 for a Lodge cast iron dutch oven from walmart even....one of her favorites. She later on showed me the more expensive kitchen products/shocked!!!! 22 years later...still on the special shelf over there with the Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and stuff!!!

So when I see my favorite big blue (dutch over pot thingy) off the shelf in the kitchen, something is being made from scratch....mouth waters....beef stew, chili, ,spaghetti, chicken curry, potato soup on and on!!!!

Your baby looks sweet!!! Give her that good deep cleaning and sexy shine all the time!!!!!

So I do understand....lmao!!!!

Well, here's what I did yesterday - finished putting in my 2/1 daystar lift and slapping on the wheels and tires (see below), and on the VERY LAST bolt (lower shock, truck as on the ground) while trying to torque it down in an awkward position, I unfortunately slipped my pinky under the wrench end while I was pulling with all my weight (and being complacent and trying to hurry), and the wrench slipped off the nut and I crushed open and broke my pinky. 1.5" tear from under nail along side the finger and broke the tip. Spent the evening in emergency - stitches and splint, and going to see the hand surgeon Monday. Stupid me not taking my time. At least it was the last bolt, the alignment shop can torque things down from me.

Sorry to hear that, Rsonedecker. Lots of nerves in fingers and injuries hurt like hell. Hopefully you’ll get full function back.

Ouch. Feel better. Man what we will go thru for our trucks!
