Hey guys, first post here. Never owned a truck until I got a 2019 1500. Wow, what an upgrade from my 2010 accord haha! I got the rough country leveling kit (2") installed and man, is it such a better look. I feel no difference in the quality of the drive either. Just wanted to share my experience with anybody who may be considering it. I've attached a before and after.

Im glad to hear you have same ride quality. Mine is awful. I even put stock tires back on and made no difference. They are taking it off Wednesday and checking to make sure it's right. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear that. Was is just the spacer or the 2" lift kit? I just have the spacer installed.

Mine was just the spacer. I have 22" rims. Do you think that would make a huge difference? I'm putting everything back to stock next week. Thanks

The 22s make no difference - I'm telling you I have a sneaky suspicion based on how awful you say the ride is now, that they jacked something up on the install (and I hope they end up fixing it when they put you back to stock) - I'd definitely go with a top-hat spacer next time and maybe consider taking it somewhere else for install.

Thanks! I may go ahead and spend the money and do the Mopar 2"lift. If not what is a good Top-hat spacer?

Daystar 2", motofab 2" or 2.5" (depending on your rake), there are a lot of threads on the levels. Honestly, your pre-load spacer should have been fine to begin with, just feel like you got the short end of a bad install (again, judging on your definition of horrible ride).

Definitely a bad install. I've had my 2" RC kit on for months now with zero issues and a much improved front end ride around corners. No noises, clunks or anything else people complain about. Best $55 I've spent so far.

I can attest that my 285/55R22 (almost a "35x11.5R22" for comparison) Terra Grappler G2s that I finally put on ride great, they are not harsh at all. Are they a "little stiffer" that the 20" Bridgestones, yeah, but I mean a little. The truck still rides fantastic. And funny thing is the PSI is at 55 all around, so it's only going to get better when I reduce them down to 40-42psi.

I have the rough country 2" level as well, and it rides as good as stock. No difference whatsoever, and that is with stock 20" duelers.

Hi may I ask why you did the 2 in front 1 in rear level? Thinking I may need to do the same as I tow a bumper pull horse trailer.
