Mine is as smooth as ice and I like going faster than posted speed limits in az. However, I have had this issue before with previous ram. Hellwig and bigger sway bar links. Also core 4x4 rear control arms. All 4 eliminated any wobble. They are probably the best investment I made for the rear.

That's great! I spent almost $500 on a set of rear upper and lower link bars already. Shouldn't have to pay $.01 cent to make a $62,322.00 truck ride smooth. I can understand if you were doing a bunch of mods to it, but a straight from the factory truck...no way! RAM better get their **** together because word is getting out.

Completely agree

We'll I replaced the U-joint, pinion angle correction, and balanced the driveshaft. That leaves wheel bearings and I do hear a low frequency hum coming from the front tire area...

not sure if this helps, but back when i had 2006 300c , i had this problem and they did all what you have done, and the dealer then had to have a chrysler tech come from detriot to research, he came up with it being the drive shaft needed re-indexed and balanced, and that did take care of it. not sure if this will help.

I had a bad shake at the 60 range as well, but it was due to one of the tires not being true/perfectly round. Once it was shaved it fixed the issues. But this is also on 35x12.5 and not the Bridgestones. I dont remember any shake when the OEM tires were on. Hope you get your issue resolved.

I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Bighorn 4wd that is having the same shaking issue. Starts around 58mph all the way up to 75mph. Discount Tires has replaced 3 complete sets of tires. I've had them rebalance and Road Force tested 5 times, still the truck shakes. I've had the entire suspension thoroughly checked. No broken CV Shafts, Hub Bearings are good, Tie-rod Ball Joints good, Upper and Lower Ball-joints are good. Aluminum wheels are not bent or out of round. I have had EVERYTHING checked that could be the possible culprit, still no luck...................Anyone come up with an solid ideas yet?
I've tried everything on the 2020 that I traded in and never could eliminate it. Bought a 2021 with the same problem. Building a case for Lemon Law and not buying another one.

ey All,

Hope I can describe this in the best way, and someone can help out here. I bought a used 2019 ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 short box, truck had 27k on it when I picked it up. After about 1k miles, truck started to vibrate in 20-32 range, and 54-66 miles. After another week I could feel the vibration in other speeds as well. To get me back on the road the swapped my tires and rims from another ram on the lot (same rims and factory tires) vibration for the most part went away for 4-5 days, then I could feel it coming back again in the same way (note all these sets for road forced) They said my original tires couldn’t balance, so they bought me new hankook AT2 tires and installed them back on my original rims that sat on the donor truck for 2 weeks. Again after 4-5 days the truck shakes. After 2 weeks you can feel it when driving soft and accelerating slowly (in my feet, pedals, seat and some time when my arms on the center arm rest.

not sure when when new/ used balanced tires get installed it stops. But the tires on my truck when installed back on the donor truck, no shakes or vibration. Anyone see something like this before

Same problem here. 2021 ram 1500 laramie with 13k miles. With stock 20” rims and have had bfgoodrich KO2’s(two brand new sets) and now have Goodyear ultraterrains. All factory size 275/55r20. Just all terrains. But my truck bounces and shakes 35-45 mph and roughly about 60-65mph it starts as a constant vibration and doesn’t stop the faster you go. Tires have been balanced a dozen times and alignment checked 5 times. Been to dealer numerous times and they say it’s cause of the bigger tread on the new tires. (Even though I’ve had these tires on five other trucks with no shaking or vibration)So about two months into fighting this vibration and shaking steering wheel. I am losing my mind. So spending another 700$ on new factory highway dueler tires. Getting them installed on august 17th. If the truck still shakes it will be back to full stock and I will be leaving it at the dealer till it is fixed. Keep everyone posted. Very very unhappy with my ram purchase. First ram ever. Will probably never buy another one again

So three sets of different tires and road force balancing, different air pressures, alignments. Thinking the rear end might be an unbalanced driveshaft at this point?…..I’m at a loss guys….if trucks weren’t so damn expensive right now I would trade this thing in tomorrow and go back to a silverado. Anyone with info on this please help

Bringing this to the top. I am having the same issues. Its so bad that my son(3yrs old) gets physically sick and throws up. I think we need to get FCA or RamCare involved.

Curious if anyone has had a remedy to the issue. I've been living with the highway vibration for a while now. Finally decided to search the forum and was shocked to see how many people are having this issue.

Lol same here, I thought it was just the bigger tires I threw on but I had them trued and road force balanced which helped but not enough

Man I hate to hear this. I just took my new to me 2019 on its first true road trip and had serious wobble accelerating through 70mph and sustained wobble cruising at any speeds above that. I was hoping one of the wheels was poorly balanced. 100% stock except swapped HT tires for Discovery At3s in stock 21" size. I have about 3 months warranty left. What is the dealership doing in this cases?

I have a Laramie as well, with the 20in. Bridgestones. Took my truck on a 20 minute ride at 60 mph. I reset the fuel meter. Only got 16.2 mpg on the trip, and only hit 2 lights. Otherwise, 60 mph back and forth for 20 minutes. Not impressed with the mpg at all. Oh, and it was the most intolerable ride as the truck vibrated so badly between 60 and 70 mph. I took a 2nd trip, at 60 mph with MDS off using the gear select. It did nothing to improve the ride, just made it louder in the cabin, and only got 14.8 mph. I seriously doubt this truck could ever get above 17 mpg, and even then, the truck is not driveable above 60 mph. Yet, I've taken in to the dealer who says nothing is wrong, but gave me a 'complimentary' tire balance which did nothing. I'm not even sure they actually did anything except mark it on the paper. Has anyone found any solution to this terrible shake/wobble?

I’ve got the same problem. I’ve got a 2020 limited crew cab with factory 22’s, bought new and now have 4k in it. It’s been to the dealer once already and they did nothing, couldn’t duplicate, but would not take a ride with me so I can show them. It’s been consistently hwy speeds 55-75. It’s a 70k truck, air ride, etc, and it shakes on highway, even passengers feel it.
Did you ever get it fixed, my limited is hav the same problem.

Went through this same saga. Three trips to the dealer, one to a tire shop, no resolution. I ended up selling the Laramie 20" wheels and Bridgestone tires and installed 18" Rebel wheels with Goodyear Duratrac tires and my vibration immediately went away and has never returned.

Goodyear makes a pretty ****ty tire, but so does Bridgestone for the ram.
Just from what I have read, so dont shoot the messenger.

I removed my Goodyear Duratrack the same week I bought my truck.
I wont run a Goodyear tire on anything, let alone a bicycle.
Happy with the Continental HT tires I bought.
