Clinically Abnormal Attention Paid To This Truck
This was my fix. All good so far, but I've only had it back for one night. It did take like 3 weeks for the part to come in.I was driving my truck home from the dealership and taking on mass insect casualties. Instinctively, I hit the wiper fluid button and zamboni-ed the flattened squish off of my windshield, thinking in a satisfied way - Bravo Zulu, wiper system; glad you're on the team. Fast forward about 20 minutes, when after the latest salvo of kamikaze insects had obscured my view, I go to employ my tried and true wiper system, just as it decides to commit mutiny against me.
No matter how I vary the "variable" section of the switch, it maintains the "low" speed. "Hi" speed seems to work properly. When I press the wiper fluid button it sprays the fluid and wipers come up, only to stop in some mid cycle position - it doesn't even complete one cycle, let alone 2-3. I then need to turn the wipers on in the intermittent or low speeds (which as stated, is functionally the same), and test my reflexes by finding the appropriate time to stop the wipers at the proper lay-down position.
Has anything similarly happened to anyone else?
