Mine will get the sound on a stiff cross wind at 70 mph it is annoying wish ram would fix this. BTW My ram dealer sucks as well.
Just for everyone's info, if this vehicle has a antenna mast, it is a 2019 Ram Classic (DS) 4th gen, not a a 5th gen DT. The DTs have a roof-mounted shark fin antenna,I am a collision repair facility that does warranty repairs for local Dodge Dealer. Working on a 2019 Ram crew, less than 10K on odometer, with "tea kettle" whistle, in rt front area of cabin. No sunroof, extended mirrors. Pulling the A pillar trim lets you hear it more clearly, but does not affect the whistle. We have taped the entire rt side of truck, no luck. We have taped the windshield sides and top and satellite antenna, no luck. We removed the antenna mast, mirror assy, running board, taped off emblems, etc. We removed the factory cowl screen to find the factory sealing tape disfigured and incorrectly applied, so we fixed that, no luck. If we tape off all the openings in the cowl screen, including vent holes, rain weep holes, and the wiper arm holes, WE ELIMINATE THE "tea kettle". As we remove the tape one area at a time, the "tea kettle" comes right back. The only hole we can remove and stay silent is the passenger most vent hole. I am enclosing pics. I have read nearly every thread so far and thank you for the great leads. I have two days in this so far and we are to the point where we can make it stop, but taping off holes isnt fixing the problem. To me, it appears we are slowing the volume and velocity of air entering the cowl area so it can't pressurize the area of the leak, hence eliminating the "tea kettle". I am beginning to wonder if the previous posts about Crown Dodge having to remove the dash and reseal stuff on a different Ram is gonna be where this Ram is headed. RAM ENGINEERS, ARE YOU READING THIS? Looking for some new info or ideas. thanks in advance.

I don’t have the tea kettle noise but after about 68mph (or higher), I experience a light screeching noise like needles on glass. The radio can mask it, but I can still hear it if I listen in. No idea where it is coming from besides in front of the 1st row seats.
I've got noise coming from the passenger side rear door area. At the dealership now for 2 recalls and checking door and window seals.Anybody had this issue or had it fixed, there is a noticeable wind noise starts at 40 miles and keep increasing with speed on the driver side !

Another update (or lack thereof)
Was finally able to speak with my Case Manager last Thursday, apparently he was away due to a family emergency, completely understandable. He then told me that apparently I had been assigned a new Case Manager, I of course was never notified of this. He stated since he has already been working the case, he would just take it back and get back to me on Friday of last week, which of course he did not.
While I have never gone through something like this with a new (or any) vehicle, I'm failing to see the hold up at this point.
1. The truck has made this whistling noise since the day I purchased it last December. The dealership was aware of this.
2. The dealerships Service Department has implemented FCA's "fix" for this issue, which did not fix the issue. If anything, it may have made it worse.
3. The dealerships Service Department has no idea what to do next, and my Case Manager has stated that, while FCA Engineers are "working" on it, there is currently no fix imminent.
4. I recently discovered the problem is even worse after taking the truck on the highway, and getting the constant whistling noise at highway speeds with the windows up. So, now it is not just limited to driving around (at any speed over 25mph) with the windows cracked open.
5. The truck is almost 8 months old, and has 1,800 miles on it, mainly because driving it makes me want to stab my ears.
Now I'm chasing my Case Manager (if he even still is?) in trying to get him to do something he was suppose to have been doing weeks ago, which is get a buy back approved.
This being my first experience with FCA, I'm less than impressed to say the least.
Have you tried putting some flocked tape in the gap ?...one side or the other. It would have to be thin enough to not impede the opening of The MirrorI have not noticed any wind noise from the front. I do get a slight noise when I roll the drivers winder down from the drivers side mirror. The crease where the mirror folds creates a noise from the wind. If I stick my finger over the crease going down the road the noise goes away.
Try this to see if you have the same sound that I've figured out I have. When your driving on the highway about 100kmh change from recirc on the climate control and then back to fresh air. Mine completely goes away on fresh and I hear it on recirculating. Really strange....
Well... Mine is also starting to make the wind noise in the rear doors. Sounds like I can hear everything going on outside of the truck and it also sounds like the window is open. I tried to seal the doors with some extra sealant but it didn't do anything. My truck was built after the missing set of seals between the cab and bed, and mine has it after verifying. So at this point it's either poor window seals, poor door seals, or the exit vents in the back of the cab letting in a lot of sound.
I have no clue what it is, I wish I also didn't have this issue as I want people to enjoy riding in my truck and now I don't want anyone to be burdened with wind noises the whole time while riding with me.
