Really, all they had to do was use the pre-punch holes with nutserts and a bolt on bracket...

Got to say, that is a very nicely done weld.
Was always told the heat of creating a weld, weakens the metal immediately surrounding the welded joint.

Got to think Bolts, or even Rivets, would have been preferable.
On a positive note, the manufacturer, of the camper unit, now knows the true weight limit for that truck series.
