^^^ This ^^^B2 Fab MF and they are the perfect combo between deep and throaty and quiet when not jumping on it.
The problem is no video is going to capture exactly the way they sound in person, all the little nuances you will notice later.
Also, everyone has different taste to what is loud or quiet. When I was researching the Outlaw, some people thought it was perfect, others too loud and others too quiet. Unfortunately, these are one of those things where you need to go with your gut.
If you don't have to do this DIY, I highly recommend you don't buy the direct fit systems. Instead, spend your money on a custom install with those mufflers. That way you can change them easily and affordably without wasting money on a direct fit you may not be happy with. Most of these mufflers for custom install are just under $100. Custom fit with labor is about $150-$175. The change out a muffler later will be easy along with changing out resonators to tune it the way you like. This is of course assuming you have a good muffler shop.
No one but you can decide, but if it were me and I was going to be towing, I'd go for the tamer exhausts like the B2 MF or equivalent. If you don't, your cabin will always be loud (fine when accelerating, but not for hours on end). You will hate life if you do this (again, that's just me).Checked with a local custom exhaust shop... They encouraged me to look at the Flowmaster Super 40 chambered. I'm thinking the resonance tuning of a chambered muffler is not really necessary on a '19 with all of the stock resonators that I plan to keep. Y'all agree? This muffler is also rated as more aggressive than the FlowFX/Magnaflow, so I'm worried too loud (I tow large camper on longer trips).
They said that if I wanted something straight through and packed, they'd recommend the FlowFX over the Magnaflow because they are essentially the same and FlowFX is 1/2 the price of the equivalent Magnaflow. Does this sound correct?

This seems to be what I'm looking for. My last truck I did a cat-back but don't really want to spend a lot of $ modifying a brand new truck. And I don't want to loose my stock black exhaust tips! Anyone have a sound or video clip of the FlowFX?I just did Flowmaster FlowFX on my week old 1500 Rebel.
For me its a nice balance of deep tone, no drone but comes alive if you put your foot into it. Cab is still very comfortable sound level for music or conversation. The sound level is enough to know it's there without blowing up your neighbors. Personally, I wouldn't want it any louder.
And - I did it myself in about an hour and the install is spot-on.

That sounds accurate to me. I think if you want a touch quieter, than the FloxFX is the recommended exhaust with the Flowmaster line. They should charge you no more than $275 - $300 out the door for complete install. My RAM dealer recommended a custom install over direct fit because they will be welding instead clamping. After a week or so, decide if you want to tune it a bit by removing and adding resonators.
You can always make it a little quieter or louder without having to replace the muffler that way.
for those getting the straight through packed mufflers are you noticing any loss of low end torque? And if so I wonder if the chambered mufflers would be better for low end torque.Anybody get a MF 19433 Direct Fit yet? W/ 20% off at hottexhaust it would be cheaper than the B2 MF. Wondering what the sound comparison is like given the different muffler styles. Skinny & straight vs oval

Anyone have a spintech 9000?

Just checked this out. Seems to be low drone on the older model hemis. Would also be interested in a video for a 19.
This is the only video on a DT that i've been able to find, and its only a start up
Thanks, would be nice to know whether that video has the resonators removed or still intact...doesn't appear the poster replies to video comments though.

I went with the FlowFX. Instead of getting the "direct fit" version, I just had my muffler guy order the muffler and install it.
Cost me $182, out the door, including tax. Took less than a half hour. Beats hell out of $310, and doing it myself.
Seemed like a Win-win.
The sound?
The best way to describe it is that it sounds similar to stock, only more-so. Has a nice rumble when you're driving easy. Talks when you hammer it. There is no drone to speak of. Based upon the frequency, I actually find MDS mode to be less obtrusive than V8 mode, but neither is objectionable.
My wife couldn't really tell the difference between the FX and stock. (But there is a difference.)
