All trucks on this trip are Ram trucks.
still learning the Sony A7 IV. I find myself accidentally turn the aperture knob too much so need to relearn how to hold the camera. Too often I take a decent shot only to find I accidentally messed up the aperture setting.
Photos came out great!

Still hoping you come out with a calendar with all those awesome pics you took last year on your trip.

Not today but I picked my truck up from the dealer last Thursday for some warranty work. They replaced the rear differential carrier assembly and bearings. The limited slip failed and they found metal chucks in the differential.
Also it’s been a while since I posted but I’ve put new wheels and tires, bed cover, ditch lights, and phone mounts on my trucks.

Looks good, what’s the wheel tire setup? So I see kenda klevers??

Thoughts on the RC cover?

The RCX cover I think was a great for what I paid. Downside is it uses plastic latches so I kinda worry about longevity with those. Otherwise I love it.

The Wheels are Hennessy 18" wheels from the Bronco Velociraptor 400. They changed the wheel design so they gave pallets of wheels to a parts house and I got the set for $500.
The bottom picture are Kenda R/T 275/70 but I replaced those because I couldn't get them to balance right. Replaced with 295/70r18 Cooper Stronghold AT (top picture).

Upgraded to OEM LEDheadlights and fog lights over the weekend.
Once again, kudos to infotainment! If you're thinking about it I highly recommend doing it and doing it with infotainment for a seamless experience.
I think it really improves the look. Even when it's parked and they are off.

Another little thing that subconsciously makes a big difference.
If you live in a state that has no front plate, and you don't already a have Kenny Chesney or Yosemite Sam plate, Plug up those holes!

I wish I could, but IL is pathetic!! I am swapping to offroad bumper, so might take my chances....

I live in a front plate state (CO) but have been running without one for many years now.

On one car it blocks the intercooler, and on another it just looks stupid.

Never been pulled over or talked to for it.
I figure they have bigger fish to fry.

Looks great! I hated having to pull the whole front off the truck just to change my headlights. That’s a good looking truck!

Yeah my 4th Gen had offroad bumper and never ran plate. Hoping to do same again.

How tall are you guys running seat jackers? Or inseam? I guess I haven’t thought of those before for this vehicle. My tradesman has no adjustments on it, but the wife’s Lexus has all the adjustments. Never thought I needed it, but we do make long trips, so who knows, I might try them.

Wrapped the exhaust around the trans with header wrap before renstalling the skid plate.
I also changed out the front diff fluid.

75,000 miles so things are starting to need attention. I changed my rear brake pads and rotors about 2,500 miles ago. Fronts weren’t due yet (6mm) pads but I did them anyway because doing maintenance in the winter without a garage really sucks so now that nights are getting colder, I decided to take care of it.

I ordered pads & rotors but when I measured my rotors, they were at 31mm still (minimum is 28mm) so they’re basically half-life with no pitting or shake under heavy braking so I was confident pads is all I needed.

Just did CarQuest Platinum ceramic which came with new hardware. These haven’t steered me wrong in the past.

Oh and of course, I have a helper now.

Seriously, these pads had more life left but I really didn’t want to get dead of winter and have to do them.

I'm 6'5" with about 35" inseam. I have a power driver's seat, so they didn't help a ton there, just gave me more adjustability. My passenger seat is manual slider and they made a big difference on passenger side comfort.

Hi boogielander, i saw this foto and i have a question for you: is it a normal indication or it is a consequence of the fact you told ?

truck was off ignition was on.
I just looked back at the previous post trip mileage and mpg pics i took and that it's always like that.

I don't know... is that normal LOL i can't really tell if my battery's going because i got 400w of solar panels on the roof of my camper that trickle charges the starter battery. but the battery tester returns good result.
