What did you do to your Ram today???

I ordered my truck in October of 2022 and Ram was still suffering from "supply chain issues" So even though I ordered the level 2 option package with Uconn 5, I ended up with a 8.4" screen instead of the 12"
So I finally upgraded to what I should have had in the first place.
I must say, Infotainment was fantastic. Instalation was surprisingly easy and the auto programming went seamlessly.
Power folding tow mirrors are on the way!

Sweet !

Hows the ride quality and noise level? I'm in the process of getting the exact same setup done to my 22 Limited and see these tires for very low prices. I'll be getting the 285/55/22 as well but will be adding the Revel level but happy to hear your not rubbing in stock heights!
There was no change in ride quality. I have the pressures set to 46PSI. I do hear them, as expected, but just barely. I'm sure they'll get worse as they wear... and that is also to be expected. I just hope they're not as loud a Ridge Grapplers that I had an a previous vehicle. No rubbing at full lock with this size. Thanks. Post pictures when you get them mounted!

When I first ordered they predicted an April delivery date and then it showed up December 22nd. Even the dealer was quite surprised.
Maybe instead of waiting on the big screens they pushed it out with the 8".

Remember how i said I don't tow and I will never need to tow? well I broke that promise by towing this trailer like maybe 0.2 mile around the lot to park it.

basically no squatting in the back with the camper with half of my gears. those Clayton 2.5" HD springs sure are stout!

oh we tried to do it with a 1st gen CRV because I was fitting my replacement trauma/ first aid kit to the seat back molle panel (it is one of the items stolen when my window got smashed. ) but that failed gloriously and hilariously.

sidenote: if anyone's looking to add a pre-built trauma/ first aid/ med kit, My Medic is a solid choice. I emailed them and told them I bought my kit last year to go to Alaska and Arctic Ocean, and they got stolen when my windows were smashed a couple weeks ago, and given how things got expensive, can they help with replacement. They sent me a 20% off discount code!

Replaced the factory door speakers with Infinity Reference from Crutchfield.
Me too! Just today. I think i left the drivers side decibel button at +3 though. Made no difference either way. Speaker sounds just as muffled as the factory Alpine.
TBH. That factory 6x9 actually sounded pretty good with the Kenwood Excelons in the headliner and Kicker yellows in the dash.
Also added Kicker reds in the rear doors. I removed the center speaker. Made a huge difference.
But knowing what i know now i would just replace the 3.5” and leave the others stock.

I still like you. 👍

I stood outside today and watched my 16yr old daughter drive it around an open field.

Her first official driving lesson.
wait... hold on.
your profile says you're 24 and you have a 16 yrs old daughter 🤔🤔

hahaha driving in an open field (or in our case... desert) is the best way to teach kids how to drive. buddy of mine (my boss at the shop... we're friends before I joined the team) trained his kids to drive in the open desert when they were 12 and 13 years old lol
then when they were 15 and 16 they moved on to driving Can-Am in the desert. and they go FAST!

Front door speakers are setup for midbass. Not worth swapping unless you go with another midbass and still not really.

I've never seen a trailer like that. What is it?
Which version of the My Medic kit are you recommending? I need to get something better than what I have for my lake affect snow trip. 🤪

Did the Expel PPF tinted film for the headlights over the weekend. Swapped in the FORM lighting a couple weeks back and wanted to keep them looking new, plus honestly with chrome shrouds too blingy for my taste and truck. Before and after lighting pic. I went the darker of the two tints available and well worth it. They also did my Fogs.

that's a race car trailer from... like 20 years ago i think. my friend has fitted a winch to the the ramp/ back door and built storage shelves inside for tires, fuel, spare parts, etc.
these days it's a storage room for firewood. No race car inside.

I went with the myFAK Large and a Sidekick Pro with some Superskin stuff. Figured those would be more than enough to handle most of the things that I encounter.
the Large will stay in the truck and the Sidekick will go in my M car (which is my daily until mid month September) and in my backpack when I go hiking and stuff.
I also have tourniquets, gloves, and some other things that come with more advanced (read: expensive but better) kit.

if you are certified, then a Medic Portable Med Kit would be a good starting point. I'm not certified and quite honestly, I buy my kit for myself and my group of guys when we go out (most of the guys have their own kits, but redundancy is good), so the Large and Sidekick Pro are plenty enough. We don't usually do activities that would involve us needing chest seals or other things, and when sh*t get serious it will be so serious a medivac will be called (using Garmin inReach, of course)

I'd go through their offerings, email them and tell them what you need and what things you do, and see what they recommend too.

dang maybe it's how tall the truck sits or the sloped ground or low building but it seems the passenger side is aimed a bit too high?
