Well, I installed the Oracle mirror ditch lights on my Ram Limited and ended up messing up the coaxial camera cable in the drivers side mirror!!! Mirror Issue aside the lights are bright and look pretty good to be honest. I also installed the Silver Holder LED strip under the chrome hood accent, doesn't look too bad but I dont think I'll be keeping it on for long, that's if our weather doesn't kill it first, Its the 25th of May and the temp outside is already 104 degrees outside!

Anyone know if the coaxial cable can be replaced or am I going to be forking out for a new mirror?

That’s a bummer. I would immediately reach out to Oracle and ask if they can send a replacement cable.

The cable damaged wasnt part of the kit, it's another cable inside the mirror he damaged during install. Has nothing to do with the Oracle part

Oh no, it was entirely my fault. Its the OEM cable for the 360 view. Thing is Oracles instructions could use a bit of extra info, a little bit of WD40 helps the process a lot! In order to pass the power cable for the lights through the factory duct, they tell you to tape it to the coaxial cable, it has enough slack, and pull it through. However there is a tiny channel inside that has all the other cables running through and the power cable for the LEDs is thicker than the rest. I ended up taping a mesh wire loom to the coaxial, after I busted it, and it went through flawlessly and I used that to pull the power cable through and I hooked it all up to my trigger 4 plus and it all worked fine.

Its a great product and the light output is great. Honestly the only comment I have about the product that the top center part of the casing is a little weak, when you push down on it, it sinks. Being from and living in the Middle East (Bahrain) it will fill up with dust real quick!

Oil and filter change. Previous owner was presumably a Valvoline fan as he used a Valvoline quick lube type joint for his oil changes. I'm a Mobil 1 longlife oil fan so we'll see how the beast likes 5W-20 Mobil 1.
Checked out Youtube for change procedure and took note of the chaps tip to use a plastic bag over the filter to catch surplus oil. Well that worked, until it didn't! What an effing mess, I appreciate the theory but the practice was not going to work without a pristine workshop and a lovely vehicle lift. Issue compounded by the fact that I'm a firm fan of draining hot oil so my hands got a hot oil bath and because I'm a fat f**k I was wedged tight under the beast. Next time I shall use something a little more robust than a grocery store bag and lift the front end up so I can get my face under the filter for a nice hot oil wash!

I greatly appreciate my pacbrake oil filter relocation kit. Some don't mind the double bag trick I think they use 1 gallon ziplocks.

yeap got a space grey e90 M that's my weekend fun car and my commuter to the shop 4 days a week. trying to keep the mileage in check on that thing so of the 4 years i have it i only managed to put almost 10k on it so far hahaha but annual oil change and stuff.
got a friend with a LSB E46 M that he's been holding on since late 2000s lol he's changed the interior from grey to black and is in the process of adding OE CSL stuff.

i didn't get the kit project farm did. i got like 3 friends who are professional detailers so i just get what they got so later on i can just refill from their big containers lolll

that's why lots of instructions tell buyers to have professionals install their products hahaha

I had TRX Inferno Edition wheels on my truck with the stock Rebel tires. Today, I put a set of the TRX Launch Edition wheels and tires on the truck. They look good, but I do have rubbing at 3/4 turn, so I'll probably need to remove the front mudflaps and do some trimming.

This pic was taken immediately after dropping from the jack, so the front isn't settled. The truck sits with 1/2" more in the rear.

I noticed a major ride difference in the Rebel load range E tires than these TRX tires with load range D and slightly more sidewall.

Yeah, I ummmed and aaahed about using a ziplock bag but cheaped out with a grocery bag, dumb move! Figured that next time I might try to rig up something similar to the chalk bags I used to use climbing back in the 80's

I use an oil udder. Amazon has them. Pop it up there right under the filter and it has a tube to drain straight into the pan. I just turn from the top of the filter through the front. No mess. No plastic bags. Pull the whole thing out with the filter inside it. Clean the oil udder and store it for next time.

Watch some videos by the motor oil geek on YouTube Mobil 1 isn't as good as it used to be. Valvoline and Pennzoil full synthetic seems to perform better. I personally use a custom blended boutique oil from BND Automotive in mine. Little more expensive, but the owner is a tribologist with years of experience, and also a Mopar guy who owns modern and classic Hemis. He started by custom blending for himself, then started to sell to friends and family, and expanded with car forums

They make it but it looks like it's out of stock on their sight. The one I bought is the same and the change in part numbers is because of O-ring material.

I think this is the new one for the 5th gen.

This seems like the preferred option for the type of cheapskate that uses a grocery store bag as a catchall. I like the remote kit but out of stock and $300 ish, then the ballache of fitting it, yadder, yadder, as opposed to 30 bucks.
