What did you do to your Ram today???

Got my new Weathertech mudflaps installed just in time for the rain. So much quieter with the nerf bars in the wet now. Can't even hear them, before they were super loud any time I hit any water.

I was considering those over my OEM ram mud flaps that accumulate ton of mud. Actually it was 6 lbs. but whos really counting 🤪

I have the WeatherTech guards on my truck and they're great...serve their purpose well, don't accumulate mud/snow/ice, look nice, and are easy to install. Highly recommend

Steam cleaner or good 'ol elbow grease?
a little water spray (light) from hose, a little spray cleaner and brush. Then spray a little detailer and let dry. Man does this engine compartment collect dirt/dust. I do put plastic bags over battery and generator. everything else gets wet. Maybe 15 mins ..

So, Elbow grease. It does look great. Ever tried a steam cleaner? Works wonders without all the brushing and rubbing.

a little under hood clean up.

It's crazy how nasty under my hood gets on this truck. I'm pretty sure the front hood seal doesn't make enough contact but even the rest of the engine bay gets dirty really fast. Lots of open space for debris to circulate around in there. I've pretty much given up trying to keep it clean like yours. I'll just use air and keep that crap out.

I have not. although like I said, 15 mins tops to do he whole thing . Just a fast light brush around, nothing too intense.

what’s up with these front axles? I ain’t got no lift on it. Now I gotta get a new passenger output shaft.

Also, just got 210K miles on my ‘20. Having the water pump and belt tensioners changed.

Outside of the dang axles, I’ve been pleased. Suggestions on aftermarket?

210k and just now doing some steering/suspension/wheel stuff? Man, I'd say things are going pretty damn good then!

Trakmotive, buy from Rockauto

Everything under the hood is sealed. No worries
Thanks. I was not aware of that. Eons ago (1991), I had a Ford Ranger on which I used a pressure washer under the hood, which caused me a massive headache. For the past 30 years, I've been afraid to do it again. I've been using a steam cleaner for the past 10 years or so, and it works reasonably well, with a little wiping up in some areas.
