Here’s one site I found.
Power heated with blind spot monitoring.
$1918.02 Like I said, not cheap.
You can probably find cheaper if you look around or if you don’t need the blind spot monitoring or the camera for 360 view.
A wrecker is another option.

Holy crap. Thats unreal. Can I just manually fold them in if the gears wear out? Freaking RAM's man. What a money pit.

If the gears go badz a lot of times they will be "loose" and won't stay locked in position. One of the reasons I don't use the auto fold option with my TazerDT

Exactly the reason I wouldn't want auto fold

Every makers mirrors are the same, it isn't just ram. If its a light weight moving part, count on gears being plastic

The reason most fail is because of running them through the auto car wash. The rotating brushes catch them, and wham. Gears are toasted. folding them with the button in tight parking spaces beats having some douch-bag push them by hand and toast the gears. Folding them without using the motor is the problem.

Morange stuff today haha. After the Mom’s day festivities I was able to lay in the Hemi letters. Personally this was a little more of a beeeyotch than the ones sticky outty ones like the ‘1500’ (the word for that escapes me rn) but these actually look better and the edges won’t get snagged. What I don’t like about The other type is that even when placed perfectly you can feel the edges. So I have my suspicions they won’t hold up.

Anyways, the hemi looks good, now just tryin to decide whether or not I do the etorque too as I have the correct letters. I’m just gonna leave it blue for a little bit and see how I like it.

The orange accents work so well on the Granite... I just might have to steal this idea...

Nice! Go straight to a Graphics shop and get your front end done in clear PPF. You won’t be sorry you did!
I might be a little sorry 😂 - Just got quoted $1800-2500 for this xpel service via text with a local, reputable shop. Seems high but I know the work is tedious and you want it done correctly - thoughts?

Depending on how much of the front end they are doing that seems about right.

Regretfully, I had to take my truck in for the “dreaded” wet headliner. They suspect it’s the 3rd Brake light.
Hope it’s covered under my extended warranty!

Either way….No Bueno! Has to get fixed!

It would seem that this issue is not an "if", but a "when". If I were in your shoes, I would have been relieved of worry after making it 4 model years without incident.

Now I am wondering how vigilant I need to be for the 6,000 km of factory warranty that I have left.

i will say my driver mirror got pushed towards the front of the truck a drive thru wash but the passenger was fine and has been fine and just went out a month ago. plastic gears are bound to fail just like my kids ride on power wheel toys
