Finally finished up my switch panel install. Well, not entirely finished, but it is good enough for now. I also made some changes to my auxiliary lighting. I removed my DV8 pod lights from the A-pillars, and also removed my 20" Rough Country Black Series lower light bar. I swapped these out for a new light bar and pods made by a company called Strands Lighting Division. Strands is a Sweden based company, and appears to be a pretty popular choice all over Europe, but I couldn't find much information on them at all here in the U.S. I actually had to purchase them from a seller in Canada and have them sent down here to me in FL. Strands makes numerous variations of lighting solutions, but I went with two products that closely matched what I had just for simplicity.

The specs on these new lights are considerably better than what I had. I haven't really been able to get out and put them to the test yet, so I cannot completely confirm the claims, but they definitely appear to be brighter. My favorite feature about these is the DRL functionality. These have both white and amber DRL settings, and I have those options wired to my new switch panel. I also recently installed Lasfit rock lights that are white/amber capable as well, and the DRL feature on these new lights are basically an exact match to the rock lights. It does an awesome job at bringing everything together from a visual standpoint.

what do you run in the summer months? Did you change tire size as well?
I’m kinda Old School. I like a 5 spoke so I found a set of 20” Laramie rims on Marketplace. I like them for their simplicity and ease of care. Plus I got all 4 rims for what most guys are buying 1 fancy one for! LOL
I run 275/55r20 Michelin Defender LTX M/S for the other 3 seasons. I‘m not an off-roader so have no need for an aggressive tire. I want quiet, long wearing, fuel efficient and awesome water-shedding capabilities in a tire. This tire does it hands down in all categories. Especially, Zero hydroplaning in heavy rain!

Man my wife is the same way, she doesn't get on me for much... but she is not real excited about my level of "enthusiasm" for keeping the cars detailed.
That’s called ”Pride of Ownership”!
My truck gets whatever attention it needs. Washed 2 or 3 times a week. Detailed often. I get a door ding and it’s in the PDR shop. I hate stuff messed up. Kinda anal in that respect. My truck is 4 years now with 60k and looks brand new (most of the time LOL)

Did some Mopar Black Chrome Tips. They look a bit anorexic up close. But I don’t like it too close to the bumper because of all the plastics and the sensors.

Yeah, that looks pretty goofy with the tips so far from the bumper. 🤣

Mine have been like this for almost 2 years without melting any plastic.

Hmm. Cool. Wasn’t sure because the stock ones were like that. And I haven’t seen any mention. Of it. I’ll pull mine up later today if that’s the case. Thanks!!

Did a thang yesterday afternoon. Added Tyger OEM style fender flares. Truck is finally coming together the way I want it..

Looks good. I think that was the brand I put on my last Ram. Do yours fit completely flush? Mine wanted to stick out a little on the front fenders, I had to convince them to fit closer

A story of a dremel & the air dam... lol. Took about an inch & a half off. Still have the active air dam behind, just want a bit more clearance

Watching this one closely and looking to a video clip once installed. Please post a link to the system when you get a chance. 👍
