Finally...been planning on this upgrade for at least 6 months and saving my pennies for this big rim/tire upgrade.

But now I'm on the border of getting the owm fender flares. Didn't want to go the fender flares, but let's see how I feel down the road.

Stock big horn back country black 18" rims with 32.1" (275-75R18) falken wildpeak at3 tires.

Upgraded to fuel contra rims (candy blue ones) on falken wildpeak at3 (275-65-R20) which comes out to 34.1"

In all, it gave me a good 1" lift. Didn't want to go to a full 35" tire because I know it will rub. No rubbing at all with this setup.

I think the flares would look awesome!

I just picked this up Weds after a 4-month wait for the build. I had the steps and tonneau added earlier in the week at a local shop, last night a buddy and I added the LEDs in the grille. Today I had ceramic tint done on the front windows. I'm pretty much calling it done. 1FB.jpg

Nice truck, great photo! Can you share what lights you used and how you wired them?

Gave the big girl a good bath 👍🏼 After trying a bunch of products I really can’t find anything that beats the shine & ease of application of Chemical Guys Blazin Banana Spray Wax

What grade fuel do you use? I always use premium, but I’ve seen a lot of people say that they use 87 in their Ram and was curious what you all use

89 or 88 like calls for in the manual. Premium is a waste unless you’re tuned or pull heavy loads.

Some of the trucks ping less when you use the 91. My truck in particular pings less when I use 91. Especially around 3.5-4.5 rpm. With 91 I still hear it a bit when under heavy load.

Thanks! A guy by the name of Mike Burger on the Ram Rebel Nation Offroad group on FB sells them. He has several options. They are sold as a kit, the lights plug into a harness that is connected to a fuse tap. They connect to fuse 44 on the fuse panel under the hood. Very easy to do, the only drilling that I did was a small pin hole in the fuse panel cover so the wire was not pinched off.

Yeah I’ve had a couple of the Yok A/Ts. (I think G058? Can’t remember) but they wore great. And at the time they were the only cheaper ones with a rim protector. Then they got more expensive when they started catching on. Great tire tho. I wonder how loud these are compared to the Duratracs the Rebels come with. Those things are unruly!

Mine still pings with 91 too. With Arco it pings like crazy! I’m bringing it into the dealership next week because it’s BS that I have to run 91 and even then it pings so much.
