Not always. I know a few guys that have more toys than that and not a single payment.

My clients make the payments. Believe it or not I rent them out except for the newest Solitude. That ones my wife’s forever favorite. At $349 and $649 per night and I deliver this is a side deal. But I’m also a financial advisor as well as main income.

Man that sucks - This is something that I am also worried about with the 22" rims.
The repair cost $125. Heat and metal shaping techniques were applied. You can see a bit of discoloration where the heat was applied, but no blistering of the powder coat. There is also some bare metal showing, which I could touch up. Since it's aluminum, it's not going to corrode in a harmful way. It's all on the inside, well out of sight.

Aluminum corrodes, especially if you live in an area where they salt the roads in winter.

Ordered the maxtrac 2/4 lowering kit, spohn adjustable panhard bar and bilstein rear shocks.

Was going to try and I stall my rear lift spacers, but my jackstands don't go high enough to hold truck up high enough for me to lower the axle.

Got new tires mounted today. Went with LT275/65R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT’s. They fit great with no rub on my ‘19 with the Off-Road Group. Now I have to patiently wait for the Bilstein 5100 shocks I ordered to come in (ETA in March). I plan to install the Bilsteins at circlip #5 and replace the stock UCA’s with the Mopar UCA’s that come with the 2” lift kit. Will also use AlfaOBD to adjust tire circumference for the speedometer to read correctly.

EDIT: I used these instructions to change the tire size in AlfaOBD. My calculated tire circumference came out to 2672mm. The speedometer now reads spot on with GPS, and causes no problems with the parking sensors.

I’ve been holding off on replacing the wheels or adding a lift to my ‘19 Laramie because I may get a TRX, but that probably won’t be until this summer.

I'm thinking about changing the wheels for now and leaving it at the stock height, what would you recommend?

Unless you are going to do a rear lift, I'd personally stick with clip #4 on the 5100s. Will give you a slight 1/2" rake. With the Zone Off-road UCAs I just installed, I have zero take now,(5100s on #4) and depending on angle, there is a slight nose high look to the truck, even though I have measured it to be perfectly level. When I had the 1/2" rake, it was barely noticeable, and never had a nose high look.

If you could post or send me some photos of the backside of your bumper, I'd love to see it. I did slightly modify the brackets to make them a little wider for more adjustability.
I’ll have to get some tomorrow, I’m glad the holes we wider because I needed it to make them work haha. I had to drill two holes in mine as I said because the bumper support brackets were different than the rebel. I’ll get some photos and elaborate more tomorrow.

I’ve definitely been on the fence between circlip location 4 and 5. I see loads of pictures of ORG’s with the 5100’s at #5 but hardly any at #4… As it sits now, with the toolbox fully loaded, I’ve got 2 3/8” of rake. I also plan to install either a grill guard or full replacement front bumper, so that will help bring the front end down. If the nose still ends up too high at #5 after that, I’ll just do 5100’s in the rear as well.

The 5100 rear shocks don't change the ride height in the rear. This is mine on #4 with 275/65/20 tires before I changed the UCAs

Love those Coopers XLT's...but I'm biased toward them! ;)

Put a couple 4x4's under the jack stands or under the frame rail.

A very interesting side hustle! Do your clients run the gamut of demand, or are they primarily tourism based? While an RV is seen as primarily tourist based, anyone needing temporary housing would be a potential client. The portability and delivery are bonuses. That price per night is much more than for a motel / hotel, so I'm guessing there is some reason this option is still appealing.
