Here's some, not so great, pics of the lights through my backup camera. (y)

Pretty good, I'd say. I can see SOOOO much better, now. I might angle the up just a bit, though.

The first pic is just the brake lights in neutral.

Edit: I did end up angling the lights up a bit.
Are you still diggin' the backup lights? The factory ones are pretty much worthless. Looking for some options.

The lights look awesome! well done

What lift and tire size do you have? I have the same truck, everything is stock right now, but hopefully that is changing soon. The whole set up looks great!!
Thanks!

I’ve got the Rough Country 3.5 inch lift w/n3 lifted struts. Wheels/tires- Raceline Scout 20x10 -19 offset Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x12.5 R20.

Getting closer! For the record I hate carpeting speaker boxes, unless they are a perfect cube. Either way, turned out pretty sweet.

Finished all the Mods. This is wife's truck. Replaced the sport mirrors with the factory towing mirrors. She likes them better.

Thanks! Today I got the amp temporarily mounted behind the rear seat. I have to remove it all when they finally replace my back window. I'm also going to sound deaden the back wall. That's were most of the outside noise is coming from. Drive without your rear seat and you'll believe me.

Also got those wrinkles out of the front carpet. I'm thinking I'm going to add some of the silver trim to the sides as well.

All in all, ended up costing too much and was a pain to build (still cheaper than aftermarket prefab), but it's exactly what I wanted, it sounds amazing, and I love how deep the storage on the passenger side is compared to the factory fold down cargo system.

Final pics (I'm sure y'all are sick of seeing them by now)

Man I built almost the exact same under seat storage box for my truck and I’m in the process of building a sub box to fit in the exact spot/size that yours is in lol. It’s like we had pretty much the same idea lol. Yours will look better than mine though lol

Looks great! Wish I could build something like that for mine as I want a little more bass. Might have to look at just buying one though. 😄

I just had this done today... do you notice the light that shines through at night on the running lights shows cloudy?
I wouldn't say it's cloudy, but I can tell that it's been painted. Little specks of paint shows through a little bit when lit up. If that makes sense.

Na, yours looks great. I like how you slanted it. I was going to but decided I had had enough with trying to figure out all these angles. I should have used an angle finder instead of eyeballing it, checking, adjusting, and so on.... I also, built mine to ensure I can still remove the OEM all weather mats and also access the storage bins. Good luck to ya, excited to see the results.

The area above my sub in the seat is pretty much hollow, but that's also why I added the grill. There are some benefits to downfiring, but you have to factor in the woofer's excursion height, and a good 1-2 inches of clearance beyond that for it to sound right. That would have left me with maybe 4 inches of mounting depth. So, so something to consider when you're planning. On the other hand, not sure if it's a good or bad thing (depending on male/female passenger) but up firing REALLY vibrates the seat above it. (flashback to the Howard stern movie) So there are some pros/cons to both.

I think the front of my box was 9", probably 10 or 11" if you slant it, so you could possibly do a forward firing 8" as well.
