Have any other pictures of the lights and how you mounted them? I like the way they look.

Yeah after scrolling a bit I found it. I like what you did, so I will be coping that design. Been wanting to upgrade the reverse lights and just found the one I like. Thanks!

Amazing weekend...man do I love this truck. I was able to participate and try to make Team USA for BMW's international off-road competition. I didn't make the team but had a blast. We did 20 challenges over 3 days with 3 being team challenges with a randomly assigned group. Each person starts with 200 points and you get deductions for errors or DNFs. I won't know how many points I scored for 1 month but I'd guess I was closer to 125 out of 200 when all was said and done.

Fantastic weekend...amazing truck.

Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9300 miles on the Odometer now. I'd say it's officially broken in and AVG over 9300 miles is 22 MPG with 4500 miles being at near max payload.
I think I would fail the tight cone box turning.

Finally got around to upgrading the tires. Falken Wildpeak AT3W 275/70/18. I leveled the rear 2" when I 1st bought it but since the tires went on I have decided to put the stock rear springs back on and do the 2" front Rough Country strut level. Should be here on Thursday.

My next upgrade must have is a topper. I picked the Smart Cab EVO. This topper is all stainless steel and bomb prof. Roof Rack is on back order . Check out RSI web site. They have some audacious bed replacements and off road toppers for the bug out guys.

How did you like them while you had them on? That's the tire size I want to buy when I upgrade. I don't care for too big of tires as I put in some miles on my truck.

Re-reading my post I see I didn’t specify what I actually took off. I took off the mud guards, wheels and tires are still on.

I love them so far. I cannot tell if there is any additional road noise compared to the factory Bridgestones either TBH. Handles just fine as well still.

I used the curt 5 pin trailer harness to connect the wires from the light bar. For reverse wire (white wire) from the light bar I used a bullet connector and connected it to the 5th pin on the curt adapter. This way it is a true plug and play connection. No splicing or messing with factory wiring.

I used 1/4” spacers on the end and 1/2” spacers in the middle along with the clips provided with the light bar to mount it to the plastic piece between the bumper and tailgate.

It is a tight fit but the tailgate does not touch the light bar at all. It has about a 1/8” of clearance. The bottom of the light bar needs to be flush with the bumper to avoid hitting the tail gate.

Below is a video of it working along with links for the curt adapter and the light bar.

I received my OPT7 60" light bar today and I have the Curt 56584 wiring harness. To get the bullet connector for the white wire to the 5 pin harness do I cut up the harness that came with the light bar shown in the photo? Should I just cut up that black plastic and and get that bullet connector out of there?

This weekend, I took the truck, my wife, and our dogs for a bit of backcountry glamping in North Georgia.

The solar setup is a work in progress, not really needed for this two night trip, and not particularly effective with the amount of trees around. But it was a worthwhile experiment.

This was off Sarah Creek Road, near Clayton, GA. We stayed in two spots in the area. The first was a bit more secluded, while the second was right by the creek. Which was lovely, but a lot of gnats, mosquitoes, and yellow jackets. The latter were attracted to garbage the last residents kindly left behind. We packed their trash out; it’s too nice of an area to spoil.

There is some off-roading in the area. This was the most time I’ve spent in 4 wheel low. We saw plenty of Jeeps, Tacos, 4Runners, Fords, Chevies, Rams, and even a new Bronco (the real one, not Sport).

I didn’t do anything extreme, but I might have picked up my first pinstripe from some trees. A little bummed, but I got the truck to have fun.

Replaced my factory running boards with a set from Westin but I’m not feeling the love. Planning on replacing them with AMP extremes next month when they do the lift.
