Nice job.
I'm surprised no one undercoats their vehicles these days like they used to do back in the day. Unless you don't live in New England and have to deal with Snow and Rock Salt. I had mine under coated.
I didn't do my old TJ. It's a basket case of cancer right now. I did my Rubicon but traded it off to get this Ram. Since they put 80 million gallons of brine on the roads here in Northern Virginia if they are calling for a 10% chance of snow and it's 50 degrees out, I will have the Ram done before this fall.

Seems that the in thing is spraying wax on a couple times a year rather than a quality undercoating. They must have the Jiffy Lube marketing firm that convinced everyone oil needed to be changed every 300 miles. Since the 60s formulas have improved and the black undercoating stays pliable and protects.

Fluid film used here. Works well, but does require multiple applications. Super easy to apply when you get the dedicated sprayer.

Just received my red TRX ignition switch...quick and easy install. I tried reaching from under the dash and my arms just would not reach so I removed the lower panel under the dash/steering wheel and reached from under. Just two 7mm screws and the panel pulls out easily. I also used a small piece of satin metallic red wrap to cover the silver ring (I could always peel it off/change colors/etc. later) Pics attached.

Got my Granite Crystal 2019 Ram 1500 Lone Star with the sport package about a month ago and recently (not today but close haha) made some upgrades! Not as all out as some of the trucks I’m jealous of here but I’m proud of it!
1. Went up from stock 18s to 20” Vision Creeps (12mm offset) with 275/55/20 Pathfinder ATs (in a discount tire loyalist)
2. Installed LED interior lights (some cheap Amazon brand) throughout the cabin
3. Installed LED cargo and reverse lights (auxito)
4. Installed LED headlight bulbs (Fahren). No errors or flickering so far and didn’t have to adjust.
5. Applied yellow lamin-x fog light tint.
6. Put in some Husky x-act floor mats.

Future plans include spray in bed liner (and maybe the running boards), black exhaust tips, and a top notch exterior detail. Also looking into front tow hooks because I like that look.

Do you notice any distortion with the Air 80 on the windshield?

I'm thinking about doing the windshield but am concerned about too much glare from my plastic Bighorn dash or distortion when looking through the film.
I have air80 and no distortion and no issues with my Ray ban polarized glasses either

got some beach time in with my wife and newborn daughter. didn’t really leave the truck, just drove around a bit. 4wd auto was flawless in the really soft sand. had to help a guy get unstuck, and then drove for a bit. great day.

even randomly saw my old 4th gen and met the girl who owns it now. got to talk with her about all the mods i did to the truck. was really cool getting to talk about all the hard work i did on that truck.

I have the built to serve "Air Force" billet silver version and although I didn't really want it, but it came with the ram box and the storage management system including the divider extended bed thing and the new door like tailgate. Well, the extended bed thing doesn't work... Why? Because some arcane safety regulation at the national level apparently made Ram "disable" it in mid 2019. So, they took out the pieces that secure it to the truck in the extended mode...but you can buy them on Amazon for 34 bucks. So, I'm just waiting for those as the reduced bed size due to the Ram boxes means you need more space when like hauling lumber etc. And I got a tonneau cover coming. The Rambox AND the open like a door tailgate thing mean no inexpensive tonneau's anymore...for sure... Oh, after just a couple of days, the Ram Boxes are already growing on me... They are huge and all that "stuff" I used to stuff in the old truck fits in ONE SIDE... I think this might work...

Washed my truck for the first time in a couple months. Had to do it early to avoid the crazy temps were having. The granite crystal still pops and looks great. Have a good weekend all!

Over the last couple days... cleaned the AEM air filter (surprised at how much dirt came out!), replaced cabin air filter (after 18k miles), changed the oil (still made a damn mess), and washed it up. Ready for the roadtrip coming up!
