What did you do to your Ram today???

Yes it is! I see you’ve heard about Ridge Hardware’s story

Sure have. I grew up in Golden Beach and worked at Bob Green Siding through High School and summers from college. Still have all my family there. I live in Tennessee now. I miss my Crabs, oysters, and Chaptico Markets fried chicken. I figured that was it given your screen name being a 7D staple family.

Everyone's moving out of CA and NY for many reasons...maybe you should think about that :) You all in CA get screwed every way they can possibly screw you:cry:

It's all about speed. I drove 2,000 miles home and I could see the mileage go from about 22mpg at 60mph set on the cruise control vs. 14.5mpg at 85mph. This was the computer's numbers. I didn't calculate it myself. My truck build was always gonna be poor on mpg (5.7L w/o eTorque, crew cab, 6'4" bed, 4WD, 3.92 gear ratio) but it was a little shocking that I was getting 14.5mpg on the highway for long stretches. Lol
FYI if you want tp play with numbers of mpg and mph

Local road course opened to public today for a "snow bog". Condition weren't the best as it was above freezing Thursday and Friday. Slushy in the corners once enough vehicles made it around. Also became quite crowded after the first hour. Glad I got there early. Here are my first two laps from my dash cam

Track is in Iowa, but right on border with Nebraska, where I live. 4wd High with ESC/tsc completely disabled thanks to my TazerDT

Installed some Dutch lights. ZRoadz brackets and Nilight 4” spot/flood combo pods. In stalled the switch using an aluminum bracket attached to a kick panel screw. No holes in the interior.

14.5 at 85 sounds damn good to me

TazerDT completely disables stability and traction control?

y

you could have pushed the reserve a bit more i'm sure. also winter gas, and everyone says MPG will increase with mileage to an extent.
I pushed the reserve so far that it went from telling me 10, 9, 8 miles remaining to simply "Low". I filled up 32.5 gallons in the 33 gal tank. My goal was door to door, Atlanta to Indianapolis on a single tank, and I didn't make it. Perhaps if I'd driven 65 mph, I'd've made it.

reminds me of Kramer from Seinfeld "running on fumes!" you gotta try the experiment in the summer and once the engine has some more mileage. nice job though, close!

I installed my Bakflip MX4 and Bakbox yesterday. Install was way easier than I anticipated and functions just as I had hoped. Can't recommend either product enough.
