Went to check on my install of my Sport hood. Needless to say I am not happy right now.

Now if I even get my truck back lol, I can then install these puppies. Oh wait no I can’t as I’m still waiting to see what’s going on with the Progressive videos.

Today I got rhino lining and a Retrax MX tonneau cover...I definitely need to get the Amp Bed extender in the very near future

Today, while keeping an eye on the mirrors as I was backing up, I went to change from Reverse to Drive without looking at the knob first, and only succeeded in raising the radio volume.
Close, but no cigar. I'll keep trying.

Steve
I wasn't paying attention yesterday and flipped in reverse while doing what I thought was turning up the volume while in motion...stopped before the truck could process anything...[mental note to self...only use the steering wheel buttons for volume now]

Getting paint protection film and tint done. Glad I ordered the color matched bumpers back when they were no charge since the PPF more than makes up for it. Also, first experience with ceramic tint and REALLY looking forward to it in the Texas heat!

Curious to hear how that goes. I'm scheduled for PPF in a couple of weeks.

Found a good high-volume place near The Woodlands that also does spray-in bedliners, leather seats, and just about every accessory you can name. I'll post back afterwards but I was happy they can do it all in 8 hours because I already need some more drive time.

Highly recommend! They did the entire front end, door handle wells (so my long nails don't scratch the paint!) and along door edges. Their package also included side mirrors but I passed on that since they are chrome (plastic) so they covered the headlights instead. Looks amazing and you have to be in the right light at the right angle to see the seam. It's 2' up the hood and wraps around the sides.
The only downside is that I can't handwash for 2 weeks and no carwash for 4. She's gonna get dirty...

Also, highly recommend the ceramic tint. Left there headed home at 5 yesterday and not only was it 94 out, the sun was beating into the windshield all the way home. Took me a minute to realize I was feeling the sun on my arms, but the "oppressive" heat was not there. I think I grinned all the way home.
