That's definitely worse than I thought. I was originally looking at the Diesel and test drove it but not sure about reliability and taking a long time to make the $ recovery work. I'm going to test drive the 5.7L with both gear boxes next week and see what makes more sense for my daily driver (only the gear ratio is currently undecided). I am considering making the switch to Ram for more utility (RamBox + Multi Tailgate) than my 2018 3.5L Ecoboost provides. The EcoBoost can never seem to get over 19/20 on the highway (70-75pmh) and I heard the Ram 5.7 can depending on driving style (I am definitely not heavy footed)
I would also suggest looking into the eTorque. I have a 5.7 Hemi without it, but have gotten mine up to 19mpg on an interstate road trip. I used the adaptive cruise a good portion and tried to keep around 70-75mph.

Black Lug Nuts are due in Tomorrow to get rid of the only chrome left on
my 2021 Laramie Diamond Black with Night Edition.

Do you have to make holes on the bed to install the bedrug?

Worst I've seen on the highway is about 15 mpg while doing 75+ into a 20+mph headwind. Same road on the way back with dead wind I got 20 at 75 mph. Mine is stock w/3.92

I feel bad for the guys who report like 12-13mpg. Not sure how it could be that bad. My old 2004 5.7 Durango would also do 17-21 on a road trip btw. Same interstate (Nebraska I-80) years ago with the Durango I got 17 mpg @ 80 mph
I must be lucky. Getting 19 city. 2019 3.6 etorque. 31,000. No complaints. Runs like silk.

Nothing like an early morning Luyed reverse lights install. This probably should have take an hour or so to install, but I gave myself a few issues due to my own stupidity. So three hours and a lot of not so nice words to myself later, I finally finished the install. Night and day difference!

Just installed the same Luyed lights on my '20 Longhorn. Can't wait to try them out at night! Thanks for the idea SilverNight202!

Just for the tie down hooks to protrude through, Everything
else is held on with Velcro.

I will have to make a couple more in my case. Those are to bolt down
the AUX Fuel Tank and for the Transfer Hoses. There are plenty of
Youtube videos on Basic Installations. Line-X would have been $500-600
Then I would be putting a rug in anyway, So this does Both Jobs and was
$401 Shipped.

I just ordered precut Dark Vinyl Tint for the Tail Lights and 3rd Brakelight.
$24 with free Shipping

No. You do need to cut slots in the Bedrug for the front and rear tie down loops as well as the bed cargo lights if so equipped. Not that big a deal, I used double sided tape around the bed lights to keep the rug tight around them

I think you’ll be hard pressed to find many of us with a Hemi getting over 20mpg at 75mph, to be honest.

I haven’t done anything to help fuel mileage with 33” aggressive tires and a lift, but I’d be happy to see 16-17mpg on the highway. My truck never saw over 18mpg in stock trim.

Anyways, I guess my opinion is not to buy a Hemi if your only goal is to improve fuel economy. Hopefully you find enjoyment in other aspects. I’m really happy with my Ram selection, but not at all based on fuel economy!

I get 23mpg @ 75mph, 24mpg @ 70 mph

I got 21.7 miles per gallon just a few days after I bought my 2020 Laramie sport 4 x 4 with a 5.7 hemi going from Fort Worth to North Of Denver, CO and back. 2000 mile round-trip. Cruise was set at 75 and interstate driving most of the way. I have since put 33 inch tires and fuel wheels on it. I’m sure that made it drop off but I haven’t really checked it on a long trip since I first bought it in September 2019. Forgot to add that my sport has 3.92 gears.

Did you re-calibrate your Speedometer? I stayed with 20 inch wheels but I went up 1 inch in size on tires which made me going about 2 1/2 mph faster than my Speedometer showed at 75mph. I re-calibrated with a Taser DT.
