I did some light paint correction and Adams’s Graphene Ceramic Spray application. I might regret not putting the coating on vs. the spray but we’ll see. The spray went on Extremely easy and came off the same. I don’t believe this was any more difficult than detail spray.

I have used Turtle Wax Ceramic on my other car and my initial observation is Adams Graphene Ceramic didn’t streak as much and the shine is better.

I really liked that I could coat everything with the same spray. The reason I didn’t get the coating was to see how well the spray did on everything. If it all lasts a year or so I’ll do a full correction next year and use the coating (coating is supposed to last 7yrs vs. spray at 1.5 yrs.)

Finally got her done and cleaned up!! All work done by me and my brothers in the driveway. She's a little bigger than I expected, but I think she turned out pretty nice!

Zone Offroad 6" Suspension Lift
- Upgraded to Fox rear shocks
- Upgraded front springs to ORP springs so I didn't have to use the pre-load spacer
22 x 10 Dropstar Wheels with -25 offset
325/50/22 Fuel Gripper A/T tires (34.8" x 13.3")
Tyger Side Steps

How was the process of removing the original emblem? I have a blackout one coming and have watched a few videos on the process Was curious if it was as cumbersome as the videos make it out to be

-Put a black vinyl overlay on the RAM front grille letters to tone the chrome down a bit.
-Got one of those painted rear emblems from Retroshop.com
-Falken WP AT3w 305/65/18
-Fuel Covert D716 18x9

-Waiting on the bedcover. BAK REV X4.

Then I should stop doing things to it to save my marriage. lol. View attachment 64606 View attachment 64607 View attachment 64608 View attachment 64610

Put rebel wheels onto my big horn. Swapped out the chrome hemi badge for an all black version. Have some matte black overlays for some of the chrome decals I still have to put on. And the bilstein 5100’s are on order.

7 years, yea sure. Adams and their marketing team are becoming as full of **** as the rest of them. 7 years inside a garage not seeing daylight, maybe. The utter nonsense that comes out of these coating companies is absurd.

WHICH is why I have my stock trailer in garage ready to take on any of the tasks if I need to ref hauling. A lot easier to load, secure, and I'll take the mpg hit just for ease of convenience, so in my case works for me.

Was the break squeal resolved? -
Mine's in now for the 2nd time to address it.
Depends what issue you have, I have a front brake chirp, rear brake squeak, and had a rear brake howl in reverse.

Do aftermarket CAI void factory warranty? This is my first ram, I’ve never had issues with mods/warranty work with my other cars.

Technically warranties are not voided. Warranty claims can be denied if the aftermarket part is blamed for the work needed. Some dealers are better than others on this.

I always recommend getting to know the service manager and discussing it with them first at your favorite dealership. Most of the time you will find they do the same things to their trucks.
