What did you do to your Ram today???

How much that run you?
[/QUOTE
Wasn’t cheap (in my book anyway) as I paid 1200. I got quotes anywhere from 499 to 2800, and it varied by product, warranty, Coats, extent of the process. This place included the wheels, trim, windows, bed cover, so basically any surface. They clay bar, do paint correction, and includes 2 layers of coating and I think a clear coat or something over that if I’m not mistaken.

I did this and they just spun around and popped out.
were your rivnuts hex-shaped?

I have the spray-in bed liner so the fit was so tight, I had to hit these in with a hammer, then tightened them slow till I had some resistance, then torqued them down. I haven't any issues with them so far. All I can think of is if they are hex shaped, then they might have been torqued too tight or fast and it rounded out the hex hole before they were able to crush properly, so they just spin. You might have to get a rivet gun. I believe Harbor Freight has some inexpensive ones with new rivets.

Mopar 2 inch lift with front ORP springs, and new tires. Can't believe the difference that small lift Makes to the appearance.

No work on the truck today, but I ordered a TruXedo Sentry CT tonneau cover for it, will be here Friday. I'll post pics once I get it installed.

Looks good. You lifted the front 3 inches and the rear is stock ? looks like there's a little rack?

Did a little work on the tailgate. Custom Billet Badge (www.BilletBadges.com), and deleted the Laramie and 4X4 badges. Also, added the Diamondback SE tonneau cover last week. Next week = 3.5 inch lift, wheels, tires, running boards, Helwig sway bar, and tuffy console gun safe.

Got myself a 2020 Granite Crystal Limited since my 2019 Black Limited was received again by my dealer. Didn´t like all the chrome that the limited brought so I decided to invest a little in order to make it look better.

- 22" Limited Black Appearance Wheels
- Painted all the Chrome Grill in Granite/Black mix
- Chrome door trim replaced with black trim
- All "RAM" chrome emblems replaced with black ones (including hood emblems)
- Long door chrome trims removed
- Mirror covers painted matte black

Would love your opinion on what else I can put to my truck!
How did you delete all your chrome? Was it DIY or a dealer option? Looking to make mine all black.

What you gain with aerodynamics, you lose with extra weight added
I am not too worried about that. Came from an 03 2500 with the 5.7 and already a major step up from maybe 11 mpg. Hahahahaha! This is a fun rig for the family and myself, not a DD (camping, fishing, trips to the mts, etc). Bought it more for function than efficiency.

That emblem billet badge looks good. Clean look after deleting the other badges. Did you have any issues with your Tonneau and the MFT or did it fit correctly without leaks without having to add additional brackets in the front of the bed?

Yes, mine are hex shape. I did get a gun, but I can’t pull it tight enough for them to get tight and stay in the holes , without just popping out of the holes.

Thanks! I thought the chrome ram head was pretty gaudy! The billet badge was a little pricey, but totally worth it!. Not a big fan of all the Ram badges/stickers. First day I owned it, I peeled off the Sport stickers. I put grey vinyl on the door emblems and grill emblem. I may switch those to black since my running boards will be black. Can't wait to get the new rims, tires, and lift! I will post picks next week when it's done.

No issue at all with the MFT. The cab end was the tricky part with the corner bed braces. It took a little maneuvering, but the locking rods on the front fit into the bolt holes for the corner bed braces. I don't anticipate using the front lid a ton, so I'm not super concerned about that. No leaks anywhere now. Initially, there was a bit of a gap on the cab end, but Diamondback sends extra weather stripping specifically for that purpose. Been through several rain storms and the car wash a few times. No leaks.
