finally getting things in the mail ..... Put the mopar mud flaps on the back . Put the Weather tech bed liner in (FYI - 90% of the time my truck hauls my golf clubs - or the boat-- not much of a work truck). very happy with the fit of the weather tech mat .. lays fairly snug once the heat hits if for a few hours .. i did add a few extra strips of velcro near the tail gate to make sure it didnt try and peel up on me. also put my swing case in - i kept if from my 2015 ram - love the swing case - able to keep all my tow hitch-tools and straps dry and out of the way. waiting on running boards -- back order still 3 weeks out ... got the 2inch leveling spacers in the mail yesterday -- scheduling that next ...

Got the windows tinted. Now it looks how it should have looked from the factory.

I wonder how the tint will help with keeping the truck cool cause these A/C's don't cool very well!

I live in southern Texas which may be why lol

Mine works well over in Georgia! Seems to be a hit or miss issue. Curious do you have remote start? I know I'm a big believer in that. Takes the edge off getting into a hot or cold vehicle.

I have remote start but don't use it very much, I was thinking about tint, more so ceramic tint would help out a lot but its kind of pricy.

I definitely recommend it. I don't have concrete numbers but I do feel a difference. It's not a HUGE difference but I can tell it. I only have 15% on my front two and a strip on the windshield. They didn't have time to do my rears that day because at first I only wanted fronts. I have Llumar Ceramic and it cost $150.

ouch lol. yeah the heat in TX is brutal. Spent 6 months in San Antonio training july to dec. A lot of guys have had some issues with ac. Not sure the culprit though. It was 90 by me the other day and it kept up good for me. but everyone is different.

You guys should read the "AC not blowing cold enough" threads (not actual title). I am not sure how cold these guys want it. I lived in Texas (Hood and SA) for 10 years, and the AC in my current truck would have been sufficient.

You know, I'll eat crow on this one. It's 90° here in NOVA (truck thermometer says 95° out) and I've got the AC maxed and it really isn't all that great. Weird. Guess I'll be paying closer attention to those threads on how to improve it.

111 here the other day and my AC is pumping cold air before I make it down the block. First truck I have to tone it down because it gets too chilly. Also my first truck with vented seats too though and they are always on right now.

I'm sold. Ordering now.
Just keep in mind, if you go any shorter than the 1 3/4 inch he did, you might need to trim the stock wheel studs. I've seen some people have luck with the stock studs going through the spacers and into little pockets on the back side of some stock wheels, but YMMV.

Washed and applied first ceramic coating. Much easier to apply and looks better than traditional wax.
