I recommend installing the free MOPAR app, it will notify you. I have 2 now, see below for examples. View attachment 16243 View attachment 16244

my wife and i each have 2019 Rams and her was bought in september 2018, it emails me about tire pressures and stuff ... today when i added my trk bought in november her trk no longers list me as the "owner" ... called tech support and they have no idea what is wrong, they will get back to me within a few days .... also, since i bought the trks at different dealers the app will NOT let me choose a different dealer for service .. selling dealers will not be happy .... this Uconnect app works about as good as the other Uconnect stuff (like traffic alerts for Phila which is about 70 miles away)

Glad you local HD isn't a pain in the ***... each one is semi-independent, my local HD won't let the cashiers ring in the discount.

Odd. I’ve gotteb to live in 14 different states and I have never had to do that with any Home Depot ever

Sucks for your area :(

Thanks man.

Coming from a 3500 Cummins and before that the Duramax world.

Been 10 years since I have had a half ton. Happy with it so far.

That’s interesting. I traded a 2010 Ram 3500 Cummins that I bought new in for this new ‘19 1500. I haven’t had a half ton either since a 2006 F-150.

To say the least. Had a 3500 single rear wheel crew cab 6’4” bed with a level and rear air bags. Run over a grain of sand and jar your teeth out, no matter what I do to this new 1500, it will still ride wayyyyy better.

You mean you didn’t like to **** blood? Or equally as common spilling coffee all over yourself?

My first Cummins was my last one and I missed my Duramax. I towed horse trailers and our RV but it was my DD. The 3500 was great hooked up but impossible to tame unladen. The Duramax was equally pleasant loaded or unloaded in the HD world.

Not that it compared to the longhorn but you guys are smart...you understand

Exactly! I liked the Cummins but didn’t need to tow heavily anymore. Like you said, it was like riding a bull empty. It was over 8 years old and I only had 50,000 miles on it, a lot of it was long out of state trips. I had a older car as a DD. Got rid of both to have a 1/2 ton DD and one less vehicle. I had the Cummins hopped up and do miss the power and sound but it is quickly forgotten about when in the cab and behind the wheel of the new Longhorn! Here’s a couple pics 9C48C731-20B0-411A-B2CD-E0090E078342.jpeg C7323A1F-2B9B-46FD-8CA0-1938D6B5F2D9.jpeg of the old Cummins just for the heck of it.

Clean and a great looking rig. I had my trucks turned up too. Here’s a few of my own.

Practicality has won out this time I guess.

Sounds like we have similar stories!(y). I too am being more practical, especially the older I get. I thought hard about keepin the Cummins, it was as clean of a 8 year old truck inside and out as there is. It was always babied and kept in a heated garage, hardly ever saw snow. My intentions when I bought it was to keep it for a really long time. Was going to keep it for my kids but I know what I would have done with a truck like that at 16 years of age and I was concerned about the rough ride and possible loss of control. Honestly, the way I had it fixed up and the way it rode without a load it was a challenge to control on our rough county roads. Because of the shape it was in you know what it was worth and therefore decided to trade it while the value was still high. I’m like you, still like to have an old diesel around to play with! Looks like you had a couple of really sharp diesel rigs as well. At just under 11,000 miles on my ‘19 Longhorn I am very pleased, hope you will be as well!
