Finally got around to getting the aux reverse lights installed. Used the Curt adapter method. Worked like a charm. Waiting til dark to see how they shine, may have to tweak as necessary. Follow up night pictures later!

Edit: Night time pics!!

Hmmm... I wonder why? It only looks exactly like the one I got from Amazon. 🤣
Yeah... I mean they even used the exact some pictures with the TRX in the corner of them and all.... I was like oh okay sure I will "test" it out.

Tong,
Can you show a picture of the curts and did you drill or just use the adhesive. Any pros/cons?
I drilled and stacked some extra 3m tape(7 layers thick) between the brackets, just didnt seem to be super secure with just one or the other. The curts you just pop the existing 7 pin out and plug into it and it has another 7 pin to 4 pin hook up, so it’s like a big splitter. You do have to splice into the middle wire of the 7 pin on the curts to get the reverse lights to work, but it’s easy, and better then splicing into the wire in the tail light.

Great thank you!
curt 56584 vs 56070
You can check out these 2 from curt. I recommend the 7 wire as you have auxiliary power if so desired.

This one is available from ebay $25.25 - another 7 wire,

Received the B2Fab exhaust today and had my Amazon foam cannon waiting for me on my front door. Passed by Lowe’s on the way home from work and picked up an electric pressure washer. Tomorrow is fixing to be a fun day for me. View attachment 93485
Best wishes, enjoy. Did you need to "drill" in order to install the tailgate mat and what brand? Thanks

dang! take a photo after you soak it with the foam cannon! the current challenge on the photo challenge thread is a picture of your Ram "mid wash". a foam cannon shot would be awesome!

I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve never used a foam cannon before so I’ll be experimenting with the cannon adjustment knobs.

If you get the curt 7 to 5 pin adapter you don’t have to splice anything. White is ground and blue is reverse. Just did it tonight.

Installed mine last week. Now waiting for the resonator delete kit. Tip: the rear hangars are much easier to take off if you just remove the hangar bracket from the truck. The hangar is on two studs with a nut. Can’t remember but I think it was a 10mm. They are at the top of the bracket. Good luck you’re going to love the sound.

This is how I did mine as well when I installed my Borla. Removed the bracket and pulled isolators off on the ground. Little WD-40 and they slip right off.

The resonator delete gives it a great sound!

Thank you for the suggestion, removing the bracket made things easier.

I assume you disconnected the battery. Give it a few and it will return to normal.
