What did you do to your Ram today???

Out with the old, in with the new!
Borla S-Type (yes I love it, yes I’ll get a sound clip, no it doesn’t drone even in MDS, yes I was able to get the stock exhaust out in 1 piece - I think those are all the usual questions).

Dropped in a k&n filter. Popped out the stupid carbon filter. But Dyno said +5hp. MPG calculator says “stop gunning it everywhere”

MPG calculator says “stop gunning it everywhere” :ROFLMAO:

Might as well drop an update.👍 over this week I added 1.5” wheel spacers. Hood/ fender stripes & an mbrp exhaust. Simple bolt on. Kept resonators. Nice change in tone. Not to loud. Got more planed😎
Where did you get the exhaust?

Swapped out my yellow fog overlay with orange. This project was driven 100% by looks. The yellow stuck out too much against my grill lights and side marker.

Nice run. I didn't think about activating 4wd, good idea. I used my Tazer 0-60 timer the other day for the first time. Didn't realize intially that I didn't have to reset it each time I stopped - it does that automatically. Neat little gadget to have.
Yeah, I did a 2wd run and it was 7.07, I think. The tires spun a little. 4wd, no spin. (y)

Got 275/60/R20 Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus tires put on today. Looks a lot better than the stock tires. They ride super smooth, too.

Now, she needs a bath.

post again when they are clean - i wanna see what they look like!
These tires have a weird ash/soapy like coating on them. I'm going to have to scrub them really good, I guess.

Maybe that's how Pirelli ships them? I don't know.

Plus, I don't ever use tire shine products.

On further inspection, I'm thinking that its mostly the soapy crap the tire shop used to mount them on the wheels. I used to work at a tire place, and that stuff gets kind of sticky after a while.

But, seriously, doesn't it look like ash or chalk or something like that? I can't rub it off with my finger. It's just strange.

I might actually have to buy a cleaner specifically for tires.

And, yes, I am aware that I missed the upper wheel wells.

I'm telling you, the more I keep looking at it, the more I want to use that lift on the front end. My mind is racing again. o_O

I put them in my ''save for later'' cart. LOL

Oh, I almost forgot, I reset the tire ratio to 33'' using my Tazer DT, for the new tires.

I tested the speedo, before and after, with a GPS speedo app. It works perfectly. (y)

They ride very nice and are really quiet on the road, even at higher speeds.

I did extensive research and I finally decided on the Pirelli's. This tire has the highest rating on Tire Rack, for an AT tire. And, it is not an LT tire, thank goodness. (y)

Mines only two days old to me and I'm loving it! Put Weathertech window deflectors on front driver and passenger sides. Every vehicle I've owned in the past 25 - 30 years have had these. Da bomb! More to come of course. Oh, and sorry, didn't take a picture.
