What did you do to your Ram today???

Painted the hood emblems satin black... One step closer to chromeless... The mighty Home Depot was out of flat black so I begrudgingly bought the satin and ended up liking it better than the flat, so I think I'll repaint the upper grill fascia with the satin now.

Is that sucker removable? Im ok with chrome on the front, but not so much on the hood.
I want to take it off, paint it body color (hydro blue), then put it back in.

You can also try adding Reflective Concepts Hood Emblem Overlay Decals (Reflective Medium Blue):

http://www.reflectiveconcepts.com/2019-ram/1500-hemi-5-7l-hood-emblem-overlay-decals/

They make many colors, both reflective and non-reflective. 1st pic is daylight color and the other pic is illuminated.

Super easy, especially if you have panel/pry tools... It's only held in with tabs. Pops right out and back in.
I'm not a fan of the Plasti-Dip method... Wet sanded them with 800, shot them with Dupli-Color Adhesion promoter (I love this stuff) and a couple coats of Rustoleum's finest. Boom.

Those look nice, Is the 1st pick the same truck, I have the Mopar steps with no lights. Wondering if the Amp lights would connect or work.
The first pic is my truck with the LED strips (designed to be bed lighting). The second pic is a random pic I found of someone else's truck with the AMP lights.

I'm sure you could wire something similar. You would have to figure out where to tap into though. Maybe the dome light?

Finally...my small lift is complete. Just 2" rough country struts on the front, and replacement struts in the rear along with 1" spacer in the rear. Installed the toyo open country at3 yesterday. Still kinda looks like the front is higher. Will do official measurements later today to confirm

What size tires you go with?

Didn't go crazy with the tires, just next size up from width and height. So its 285/60R20.

I could have gone up to 295/65R20 with no problems, but I didn't want to completely fill the inside of the fender because I do a little offroading and didn't want it to hit the top fender, or rub into any of the plastic inside the wheelwell

Just got the truck back from a full paint correction and graphene (ceramic) coating. Had her for a little over two months now and so far I have done the following -
  • Truxedo Sentry CT rollup bed cover
  • 20% Front Tint
  • Dee Zee Bed Mat
  • Rough Country wheel well liners
  • Dominator D6 Steps

I think the next project will be getting some black wheels (preferable the 20" Big Horn Night Editions) and swapping black emblems. From there, maybe some suspension work....who knows. Either way, I am loving this truck!
I think that would look awesome with Black Night Edition wheels! Actually- aren't those polished Laramie rims the same Rim that the Night Edition uses(only its black)?

For Black Friday I finally ordered a tonneau cover. My last truck had an Access Lorado, and I was happy with it for what it was. I would have liked something that allowed me to use a bikerack inside the bed, wasn't ready to pony up the cash for one with a set of T SLots. I ended up going with the Access Limited roll up cover. I did the install myself this time and it came out well. The Limited cover includes an 18 Inch LED light, a almost 6 foot long "grab" bar, and also the tailgate weather striping. I finished it all today except for the tailgate stripping. I'll do that if we get a warmer day. For now I'm good... we've got up to 10 inches of snow coming tomorrow.

Which part of New Jersey, maybe you are local to me and we can shoot the breeze I mean socially distanced of course. :)

Replaced my halogen headlights with OEM LEDs which look great.
I’ve got a set of LED fogs that I haven’t put on yet, does the truck need to be programmed for them to work or are they plug and play?

Plug and play. If you have switch backs than just turn them on/off/on to switch colors.
