Just the brake light, I left the cargo led bulbs in and I have no problems now. Putting back the original bulb in the brake light got rid of the key not detected.Well crap...replaced all three and sure enough, I'm having issues now with it not recognizing my key fob is present. So is it just the center brake light bulb that causes it or is it all three? If I can get away with leaving the outer two cargo lights, I'm fine with putting the center halogen bulb back in.
How did the adams graphene coating go? Easy to apply? Hydrophobic? Thinking of using this on my truck eventually.Applied Adam’s graphene coating and installed Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover and AMP power steps
Installed the Magnaflow catback exhaust, #19430, this weekend on my Laramie Night Edition. The sound is exactly what I was looking for. Louder than stock, no drone and roars when you punch it. I have had this truck 2 months now and I love it!!!
I get what you are saying, I guess I'm thinking more long term. The whole system flexes a certain amount as a unit. When you install a stiffer part in one place, it (potentially) transfers more torque to the other components. We've all replaced worn out stab links, but most of us haven't had to replace a "worn out" bar.
That said, any stiffness gained is a good thing to me. I really like the ride of my Ram, but I'm not one to take it easy in the turns, so I see an upgrade in my future. If the links wear out quicker they are easy enough to replace. Just didn't know if the new bar came with upgraded links.
What setting did you use? There are 3 settings. I've ordered one, just waiting on it.
Which Setting did you put the new swaybar on?
That’s what I did when I got home. Realized just before putting the original bulb back in that my fob wouldn’t open the tailgate either. Everything is back to normal now though.Just the brake light, I left the cargo led bulbs in and I have no problems now. I still need to do this... but, I remember the two years I lived in TN with a garage door that size and having to fold in the mirrors to fit through every single day. lol Loved Tennessee though!!!OK maybe this was not done to my truck, but was done for it.
installed garage door insulation, both doors not just the one the truck uses. View attachment 71379
Yes, the mirrors have to fold but power mirrors make it a lot easier.I still need to do this... but, I remember the two years I lived in TN with a garage door that size and having to fold in the mirrors to fit through every single day. lol Loved Tennessee though!!!
It was actually pretty easy, just very time consuming. It was my first time doing a ceramic coating so I took my time and didn’t rush. Did a strip wash, chemical decontamination, clay bar, polish, then coating. Whole thing took about 12-13 hours. I split it up into two days. Made sure I got complete coverage and leveled everything out to minimize high spots. I did end up with a couple high spots but unless you’re REALLY inspecting the paint, you’d never notice them. I would definitely recommend doing it to anyone considering it, just don’t rush the process. It is extremely hydrophobic, it rained today, this is the beadingHow did the adams graphene coating go? I did the full coating, not the spray. I haven’t washed it yet, it just hit the 24 hour cure time today but it did get rained on shortly after I took it out of the garage and the beading was impressive. You will be extremely satisfied with the results once you apply it, just take your time and don’t rush itI'm also interested in your thoughts on the Adam's graphene. I've read allot about it saying it's very good (for a spray on product). I have a bottle on my desk... Waiting for the right day to wash and apply.
Have you washed it since you applied it?
