What did you do to your Ram today???

Finally received my Covercraft dashcover but it's the wrong color. Waited two months for this damn thing and they sent me the wrong color. Absolutely frustrating.

Went ahead and added the silver “1500”. Very happy with the color match. I like the way it pops with the RWP on the tires

How'd you go about 2-toning this?

Looks great!

How well does the vinyl hold up on that window? I use mine often and I’m hesitant to put any decals there

Haven’t opened the window yet. Gonna let it set for a couple of days first. I’ll get back with you on that.

Which color did you order? I’ve seen these online and the picture of yours in person looks good!

BAKFlip hard tonneau cover came in today. Not very happy. Hopefully the next one won’t be cracked. Tinted front windows and windshield today. At least that went smoothly.D349C9D2-3A34-4B13-AF6C-10B26B1BB22A.jpeg

Thanks!

I used the MOPAR vinyl decals (ordered through reflective concepts). You definitely need to cut them and do each letter individually though. The “hemi 5.7L” you need to let sit for a bit before peeling the cover off, took them awhile to set onto the badge.

I ordered from 3rd strike a while back and was not a fan of their “custom” ones. Very flimsy. MOPAR vinyl felt way more solid. And they send an “extra” of each one for the HEMI badge kit.

I swapped out the chrome wheel caps for black ones. They compliment the black lug nuts well.

Gave her a wash and finally got around to claying under the headlights. Started claying the sunroof too....but was interrupted halfway through.

Just posted a thread in the Exterior forum with more photos and details (and lessons learned) - but installed the MX4 bakflip today

Took it in to have the entire rear brake assembly changed out, and a new media hub installed. Fingers crossed this crosses some of the issues off my list.

Just installed mine too. The tape wouldn’t stick to the plastic and I didn’t bother with the extra optional screw. I think it’s better to be able move it and blast out any crude behind it. ‍
The tape is useless, I super glued them to the liners using loctite #401, holding tight for 3 weeks.

What issues, specifically?
Front media hub for the car play that just magically stopped working, and the rear brakes squeak any time pressure it applied to them. Any time I drive the truck next to a building I can hear it echo off the walls. Gets really annoying hearing it every time I press the brake.

So my custom shop called yesterday and said my wheels and tires were in got them installed this morning and low and behold wrong wheels. The manufacturer sent the wrong wheels in the right box. Here's hoping I can get the right ones before I move out of state.
