I really wanted a retractable-type cover so I could do everything from the rear... ;) ....
anyway, so i settled on this Pace Edwards Switchblade.

Open tailgate and squeeze these together and voila...cover retracts back on its own spring-assisted

Heres 1 of 4 clamps...very simple install...

Here some weatherstrip foam I added...now only small amounts during stormy weather

Got it off ebay, [thumbnail of seller below]. I literally had the item 2 business days after I ordered it. DONT get it from realtruck.com.

Finally, if u can stomach $400 more u can get the Metal Switchblade which is a step up. Its worth it imo...just not my wife's

Just a small change today. Plasti dipped the tail pipes.

installed a weather tech bug shield. I was on the fence about this, but actually ended up really liking how it looks, and especially having the added protection so I don’t get rock chips when dumb a$$’s cut over 5 inches in front of me on the highway :ROFLMAO:

Weathertech looks almost identical to the AVS ones. The AVS logo flew off about 2 months after installing it which I'm not mad about. Hopefully this picture will show what it would look like w/ your trim.

Yeah the profile of that one does match the WT pretty close. Both look good. I will have to order one pretty soon. Thanks for posting!

Started swapping out the chrome lugnuts on my Rebel. I picked up some blackout edition wheels from another member for my white rebel. The silver lugnuts bothered me greatly. I would’ve loved some anodized red ones but couldn’t find them.

Rooted an old Android phone I had and used AA Mirror to fully mirror the phone screen. Now I can use the Android Auto/CarPlay function of the Ram for Netflix, HBO, etc.
What were steps you used? Tried this with an old galaxy tab rooted and truck said device wasn't supported.

I finally got all my due bill upgrades installed by the dealer, except for the Roll N Lock E series bed cover. The dealer had ordered the wrong size and had to send it back. Then they told me that there was a shipping problem due to the COVID. Finally, they were telling me that Roll N Lock only made the covers to order and I would have to wait for it to be manufactured. I bought my truck on April 28 and the due bill wasn't completed by July 7! I was still owed the bed cover. So I told them to cancel the bed cover and I would pick up a check refund for it. I ordered it from Amazon on July 8 and it was delivered July 10. I installed it on July 11. Funny how Amazon had a custom-built Roll N Lock E series in stock that fit my truck perfectly! What idiots! I will post pictures when I get around to it.

Simple mod that certainly improves the wheels’ appearance. What lugs did you use... link? Thx
