I’m a sucker for little gizmos so these bad boys caught my eye on Instagram. Picked up a set of jam handles for the Rebel. The idea is instead of pushing on the outside of your door, you use the jam handle to shut your door.

Just a word of caution when buying the American Flag decal for the back slider - Make sure you get one with 50 stars and 13 stripes. A lot of the flag decals only have 36 stars to make them fit. There are sellers that have 50 stars. I bought mine on eBay.

Added Bushwhacker DRT fender flares. Had them paint matched and then installed them myself. Also added the U.S. Air Force aircraft roundels on the rear quarters. Adds a little more to the overall theme of my truck. You can take the guy out of the Air Force (or retire in my case) but you can’t take the Air Force out of the guy!

Bought plugs from Amazon, painted metallic silver, and installed on bumper. Not perfect match to chrome but very close.

Did the 2nd oil change at 15,130 miles. Been doing them every 7500 miles. Should I do it sooner?

Im using:
Oil: 7 Quarts Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic
Filter: Mobil M1 EP

Costs about $50 to DIY - would cost $85 if I brought it to a shop to do it with who knows what oil/filter

Definitely much easier getting the filter out this time even though its in a hard to reach area - the factory over tightened the original one WAY too much. Just a hand tighten is needed.

How’s the ride on the new tires?

It’s definitely a touch stiffer, but I don’t mind it at all. I’ve been in uncomfortable rides after suspension mods. I’m very happy with how this feels.

Thanks! My wife’s friend has a vinyl decal business. She normally does them for yeti cups. I asked her if she could make the roundels for me and she did. I‘ve seen them online at Etsy also.
