What did you do to your Ram today???

Repaired my Friday the 13th screwup. I clipped my rear wheel coming out of a parking garage last Friday. My BRAND NEW rear wheel! I tried painting the scratch but it still looked terrible so I broke out the sandpaper, filler and paint yesterday and did a proper repair. It's completely gone now. :)

Wow, AMAZING job!

Did some winterizing. Don't want it to rust out like my last one did.

I’m not sure if the 5th gen is the same but I know on my 4th gen there’s a panel above the wheel well that meets the outer body panels that holds moisture in it. Kind of like this if you’re looking at passenger side. \| it has holes and was accessible by pulling out the wheel well liner. I stuffed that with oil.

I put in the Flowmaster flow fx muffler. Easy install, 1/2 hour start to finish including getting the tools needed out and putting away. I was also working on the ground.

The sound is amazing, deep and mellow with ZERO drone at all. While cursing down the road, you can barely tell anything was done to the truck.

Anyone thinking of doing this, do it. Its not as loud as you'd think so if you want loud, look at something different but if you want a deep rumble this is the way to go!

I literally spent 2 weeks listening to every exhaust sound clip I could find, and from reviews on here this seemed to be what I wanted.

I had a 3rd gen that had the same problem. This truck won't have that problem. I hope !

Took it in for the unavailable Amplifier Enhancement Update. Listened to some tinny Iron Maiden on the way home lol

Installed Amp Research Powersteps solo for many more hours than instructions said lol. No lift neccessary did it in garage and finished up just in time for a few hours sleep for appointment for standard line-x + UV topcoat

Do i want a bed liner or a bed mat, and is there a difference? (I have the ram box)

thanks
IMO depends on what your doing with your truck....I have had the bed rug in ones before that covers sides and bed with tailgate covered as well. Liked it very well. I now have the the bed rug that lays in bed of truck and is Velcro in,I also bought the tail gate cover by bed rug as well. I never really haul any thing that needs to cover the sides....but if you haul things that hit the sides on a regular basis I would get total cover. Personally I don't care for plastic bed lines but each to their own.
