just installed the bed step, straightforward and easy. Maybe 30 min taking my time
Busy day today. Finished swapping out all the chrome badging with matte black badges. All were OEM replacements. However, I had to Plasti Dip the 1500 Hemi Emblems on the sport hood. I was happy that the matte black plasti dip matched the rest of the trim as well as it did.
Also Plasti Dipped the stock exhaust tips. 5 coats on that. We'll see how they hold up. I've heard mixed results.
Finally, installed the Mopar Deployable Bed Step. Wasn't difficult but took some time. Also don't have a torque wrench so between my son and I, got it as tight as we possibly could. I seriously doubt it's going anywhere. I think I know someone that has a torque wrench I can borrow and then I'll come back and tighten it up.
The only thing left that's chrome are the wheels. Still haven't committed to plasti dipping them, or just replacing the rims all together as I really don't like the style of them.
Tomorrow I am having my front windows tinted.
Truck really needs a wash and exterior detail now. How long should I wait after putting all these emblems on before washing it?

Power running boards were installed at the factory. I installed the rear step bed.How hard was it to do the power steps! Was it plug and play? Did you have to pin any wires?

Yeah here you go - https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dodge-Ram-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2648Do you mind sharing where you got that?
Interior sound wise you can't really hear it until you get on it. Cruising at highway speeds it's about as quite as stock. Going to be towing with it tomorrow and I don't really see it getting very loud, has a Corsa on my 2015 Ram and was pretty mellow until you really get on it.Please make an interior sound clip while cruising at highwayspeeds and full throttle
I have to say.. I'd never pay the kind of money it costs to do this.Windows tinted. Ceramic film. 50% front. 30% on the rest.
And, ceramic coating on the paint.
I am really happy with how it came out.
I just need to get the Mopar power running boards and LED bed lighting put in and I think I’ll be done accessorizing.
Swapped Mopar soft tri-fold tonneau for Mopar hard tri-fold tonneau. Before and after photos attached.
After all the work I did to the truck yesterday, today and let someone else do the work. Had my front windows tinted 20% to match the rear windows. Also had a 5% Windshield band installed. It was their premium brand tint (not ceramic), has a lifetime warranty, and the price was reasonable ($115 for everything). Tomorrow it'll be finishing the install of my Husky Mud Flaps, and I may take a stab at plasti dipping the middle section of the rear tail lamp to match what the Rebels have. I hate looking at the solid Red block (although I like how it says RAM on it. If plasti dip doesn't work or look good, I may look into tinting it.Busy day today. Would you have the part # for the rear seats? I have the hardest time finding a cover that allows the armrest to still function. Thank you in advance.Installed CalTrend sports tex seat covers View attachment 30796View attachment 30795View attachment 30795View attachment 30796View attachment 30797
