Installed Iron Cross HD steps

Did the first oil change at 7,500 miles - 6 months. Still had 10% left but I know people have been doing them much sooner so I figured I better get mine done.

Used 7 Quarts of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic and a Mobil M1 EP Filter.

It says it should last 10,000 miles but ill probably do it again at another 7,500 miles.

Plan on doing a full detail this week too - wash, clay bar, wax and detail interior.

Also installed my tow hooks finally. See before and after:

Picked up my first truck last week. In the last two or three days Ive swapped the Grill Badge to the black from Mopar, Tinted the front windows to match, installed N-Fab Epyx Side Steps, and today dropped it off to get ceramic coated. Have a couple more parts on the way then can take proper pics.

Not sure what the percentage is I just had them match the front to the rear. I did have a 5% brow on the windshield as well

Thx. I am tracking I can only do 50% based on my state laws for the front sides. I kind of want them to match like yours but 20% (which is what the back are) is way too dark unfortunately. Debating if 50% is worth it...can't find a photo with 50% anywhere for comparison.

This is definitely illegal here in Ohio but they don't bother too much so long as your not being an idiot

I live in Florida and our rules are no more than 28%. I did 18% to match the rears but then added 55% over the rears and rear cab window to help the kids. That way it also gives the illusion of being stock since the fronts are lighter than the rears. Shouldn’t have to worry.

Added Llumar CTX 30% tint to all 4 side windows as well as the rear, plus a 15% 4.5in visor strip. This retained quite a bit of visibility while getting some heat rejection.

I usually never park in the sun so when I did today to help the film cure it felt pretty hot inside and I understand now why guys with heat soaked cars are so upset about the AC performance!

It’s not as bright but the fog lights make up for it . Not really digging the look at night but guess that’s the price for the look lol

I will never understand why Ram does not include tow hooks on every 4x4 model. With Ford you can walk the lot and tell which is 2wd and 4wd because every 2wd is missing tow hooks and every 4wd has them regardless of trim level or packages.

Why does my Laramie 4x4 not have tow hooks but my boss’s Limited 4x2 does?

Agreed. I have the Laramie with the Sport Package and it didn't come with tow hooks. While I don't plan on needing them for functional purposes, they do finish out the look of the truck. You can buy a set for about $145 on ebay plus another $15 or so for the bezel inserts. But come one, a $60K+ 4x4 truck without tow hooks? Thanks Ram for nickel and diming me.

Yeah just put mine on for the look - looks much better imo - paid $90 from someone on here plus $15 for the bezels
